I seriously enjoy your videos. I just bought one of those toys, and I'm so new to it, and you have been so helpful for me. I'm a 63 year old woman who just lost her husband to kidney failure, the pain is so great that I can no longer live in my house because who made it a home is no longer there. I've chosen to sell mostly everything buy that exact camper from cruise America and go from here. You have made knowing my camper a little easier to do that. I want to thankyou and your wife for that. Love each other deeply with all you have, make sure all words are kind, you never know when they maybe your last words. We were together since 1976 and married for 46 years, he always said Ditto instead of I love you. One night when I left him in the hospital to get some rest at home, I said what I always say, goodnight, I love you, he struggled to bring the words out but he said Ditto, that was his last word to me. He went to sleep in death 3 days later. Again, thankyou.
Your story really touches my heart. It makes me feel happy knowing that my videos are making a positive impact. I really want to say - It really sucks to hear that your husband was lost to kidney failure. It sounds like those 46 years were a wonderful 46 years. On the bright side you have experienced love that many would dream of, there is beauty in that. It is definitely, is not the ideal situation. However there is so much in life to enjoy still. I know that if I passed, I would want my wife to continue on living to the fullest. I am sure your husband also would think the same. Stay strong my friend, the path you are taking now sounds logical. I really wish all the best for you on your RV adventures, would love to hear some updates on some of your trips. When you need to unwind, forget the world and relax, there really isn't anything much better than a bon fire at night in silence. ❤️
You are right I didn't. It is however a standard Class C front cabin bed. These really don't vary too much in design between models. Usually it is a bed with a some sort of cushion design that you can move around. I have a video of the Majestic 23a, which has the same front bed of the 28a. Here is the link to the spot that shows the top of the bed. It will be 99% the same between the 28a and the 23a. (The rear of the RV differs greatly however, and other mechanical specs) th-cam.com/video/rAf2f5rOXoY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ax5GcWPea6mgKxe4&t=1005 Hope that helps.
I own this exact make and model and was wondering if you have any reccomendation on mounting a TV. I plan on going on a holiday road trip soon from cali to florida.
Hey there is a spot in the bedroom for it, but I am assuming you want to mount it somewhere to view for driving. I honestly have not found a good location for a TV for passengers view during driving. I ended up with just using tablets. But if I was to add one, I think on top of the side door would fit a small TV decently easy.
Thank you so much for this video ! just bought my Majestic 28' and this made me so much more comfortable using it, also do you have a trick to change those black window latches when they break without taking the whole window out ?
One more tip, check the water clarity before adding it to your tank. It’s a good idea to let the hose water run for a minute and then attach it to your RV.
Yes there is a propane based ducted heating system along with an Air Conditioning unit that works when the unit is plugged into electricity or if the the generator is running.
Hi, and thank you for this excellent tutorial on how to use these rigs! Did you get any kind of leveling jack or blocks, since the rigs don't come with them? Also, how are they driving on dirt roads? Thank you!
Hey no problem, glad you enjoyed the video. For leveling jacks, I don't use them for Class C RVs. Normally I am in campgrounds that are pretty level. I have used some planks of plain wood to minorly level out the RV if needed. In Alberta there are a decent amount of dirt roads, this RV does okay. The main issue you will run into the grey and black tank outlets. They are the lowest points. That being said if you don't go super outback camping you will be okay. This RV has made it to Alaska and back once - lots of dirt roads. Can't say it was good for the suspension but it made it there and back. On a side note - the Shorter model Majestic 23a has super high clearance.
@@thebestfamilyoutdoorshow That's good to know about the 23a. Though, we will be going on the road with 5 cats and a pet bird, so we will need a larger rig. We don't want to go onto any crazy dirt roads, but the places we want to go might have some dirt roads to get to campsites. Our road is also a dirt road, and is mostly very level and cars drive on it easily. Thank you so much for the reply!
When you turn the engine on the alternator, it will charge the engine battery and the rear RV battery. This would be a quicker charge as the alternator outputs much higher amps. Based on my google, it looks like the Ford E-350 comes with a 130 amp alternator. When you turn on the generator, it will feed a 30 amp power supply to the RV. This will only charge the rear battery NOT the engine battery. It will also charge a lot slower. At most about 10-12 amps. Hope this answers the question.
Excellent video !!! Zero nonsense and very informative !!! Very valuable information !!!
Thank you, glad you got value from it.
Great video Thank you!
Glad you like it. You are welcome.

Excellent video! You took so much of the guesswork and mystery, especially about the dumping station, out of operating an RV. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!

You forgot to show us the overhead bed. Thanks for the show. I’m going to buy this model from the rental company.

I am not sure, I have had a few come off. I will investigate and get back.

That is a great tip. Thank you for contributing. 👍🙌
There’s a heater in this Motorhome?
