These tractors run alcohol which burns clear

Correct. Some of the Super Stock tractors burn Alcohol

there were 2 or 3 diesels that ran. they are the ones that have their exhaust ran to the ventilation snorkel attached to the sled to vent outside. the winner was running diesel. the rest are diesel engines modified to run on alcohol by lowering the compression and adding a spark ignition system and different fuel system
