::jumping up and down enthusiastically:: yes, Yes, YES!!! I’m really curious to know if/how your speed puzzling adventures contributed to how you now work through large piece counts. I would love to hear your reflections regarding how your thinking through puzzles has evolved over time. Love your channel - I really appreciate the extra time you take to research and tell us about the images you’re working on. So far the largest piece count I have done is 3000, the upper limit to what my puzzling surface accommodates without having to resort to puzzling on several separate boards. I’m still on the fence as to whether I want to try something larger.
So fast! I'm really quick surprised but it's such a beautiful puzzle with great detail. I HAVE to clean the kitchen today...I MUST clean the kitchen today... I am not allowed to even put in one more piece before that kitchen is cleaned! hehehehe I just can't pull myself away from it. It's bringing me so much joy! 💜🧩
@@fortheloveofpuzzles 🤣 just leave the kitchen 😆 Work is always there - how often is great joy???? I wish I had room for this puzzle. Your joy over it is infections. The only problem I see with you rushing to do it is that you'll have it finished that much faster.
Your enthusiasm for this puzzle shines through. 🌞 You are absolutely loving this puzzle! ❤ It is indeed a lovely, lovely puzzle with lots of bright colours in it. 👍 I ordered the 1000 piece version of this puzzle and await its arrival. It will be added to the pile of jigsaws waiting to be done. In the middle of doing Gibsons Paper Flowers at the moment.
I am truly loving it and I hope you will really enjoy the 1000 piece version as well. I looked up the Gibsons Paper Flowers jigsaw puzzle - so pretty as well! 💜🧩
The style of architecture is typical Italian because (cupola / lupo la), was used normally in Christian cathedral (see Venezia, Florence, Milan, Naples) a mix of Roman’s, gothic and renaissance period a mix. The two flag if they have a lion they are typically from Venezia. Love your work I did this puzzle one year and half ago when I was on bed 24h, so my husband build a table for puzzle on bed just for 1k or 500 pcs. Now that I can walk with crutches I donate all my puzzle to a orphanage close to Milan. Love you ❤
Large scale puzzle approach video... Yes, thank you. I am hesitant enough doing more than a 1000 piece puzzle currently, and having a 40320 piece puzzle to do at some point in time, I really need every tip I can learn before that. Both on the sorting section, and the puzzling part.
Your larger puzzle - is it one of the Ravensburger Disney puzzles? They come separated into smaller sections which helps. I'm going to start jotting down notes and my thoughts on how I approach large puzzle. I think it'll be a fun video to make and share with everyone. 💜🧩
@@fortheloveofpuzzles Yes, it is a Ravensburger Disney puzzle, and it is in 10 bags, about 4000 pieces each, I believe. I Also have a 13200 piece from Clementoni, also Disney, which is also in several bags. But my 6000 Clementoni Disney puzzle I do not know if comes in bags or not (probably not). Regardsless, no mixing of bags for my puzzles. Do not se the point of it, as it only makes the sorting job bigger. Largest puzzle that I have done to date were only 1500 pieces. But that I did early on, before I really sorted much. Probably should try another 1500 piece puzzle soon, and do the sorting of it this time to see if that makes it easier. A few questions for a large puzzle approach video. Do you prefer to do a thorough sorting before starting bigger puzzles, or is it easier to do a fast sort in the beginning, and more detailed sorting of the various piles throughout doing the puzzle? And how would you sort were you more pattern oriented than color oriented, or vice versa?
I believe your 6000 piece Clementoni will be in just one bag like this one that I’m building. Great questions for the videos - I will definitely incorporate them - thanks! 💜🧩
I really enjoyd this video , i watched every video of you, and i love it when you build the giant puzzles because i also do a lot of theme. I cant wait for the 3 part. Greetings from Switzerland 🇨🇭
Love this image. Really hot here in Greece at the moment so feeling quite lethargic and doing lots of puzzles. Decided to re-watch your Travel Around Art videos while puzzling 😊 my favourite
And here in NZ it's winter - well, not like the winters that I grew up with. I really enjoyed making that Travel Around Art series. I really can't wait for Grafika to release their next big puzzle. Stay warm and puzzle on! 💜🧩
This puzzle truly warms my heart! I'm going to start working on a strategy video and hopefully get it up in the next couple of weeks. It seems like many would be in interested in it. 💜🧩
I'm so glad you're having such a fun time with this! It's so cool to hear how much you're enjoying it.😊 Makes me want to do this puzzle someday! And yes, I think a video about doing large jigsaw puzzles would be really nice. I probably won't be able to do too large of puzzles anytime soon, for a few reasons, but I do have a few 2000 piece puzzles I would like to do sometime but am a little nervous about so many pieces! The biggest I have done is one 1500 piece vintage Springbok. I have one more of those I'd like to do, plus the couple 2000 piece ones. I did really enjoy the 1500 I did, and it even had a lot of dark colors! One thing that's keeping me from doing larger puzzles is that I know my puzzling habits... I tend to have the opposite problem to what a lot of Puzzlers talk about (not being able to pull away, and once a puzzle is started, can think of nothing but getting back to, and finishing the puzzle.) My problem is more that I am always ambitiously starting puzzles, then at some point they get too hard for me, or I just lose interest, and want to start another one. Or I just do it so slowly and just leave it for a few weeks without touching it... so if I end up doing that with a puzzle that's taking up a lot of space, that might be a problem. But I was able to do the Springbok in just over a week, so it can be done!
A 1500 piece Springbok would be tricky for many puzzlers as the piece cut is not standard. So you really well taking just over a week to finish it. I think a lot of people get all excited and interested in starting an activity (whether it be puzzling or something else) and then the excitement peters off and sometimes the activity can then become overwhelming - like the unfinished crochet project that I have sitting in my spare room. I think this is completely normal. I'm going to start working on my strategy video to release in the coming weeks as I think it'll be of interest to many. 💜🧩
A very enjoyable session, lass. We know exactly what you mean about the more you look at it the less you can find. Our latest is coming together as well, wine bottle corks by Piatnik! It is the toughest in our experience. ❤
@@fortheloveofpuzzles My wife is enjoying it more than me 😏. It's teamwork; I give her a piece and she finds its place... 😇. We are at that point where there are fewer to search through but building small groups needs more concentration. It's a row by row identification. Most pieces are the normal 2 in and 2 out. The cut can break a cork into 3 parts vertically and then there is the horizontal cut. Great fun 😋 🙄 😅 ❤
This is such a beautiful image. I'm so glad you are enjoying this. I know you have some disappointments. I would enjoy hearing your tips on doing larger puzzles. I did a 2000 piece Coca-Cola puzzle and it took me 42 hours😫… so now my preference is 1000 max pieces. It would still be interesting to see your strategies for large piece counts.
