Hiya! Thanks, I’m glad you liked it - I managed to get the video out in the end 😆. Yes the shelf is up now, as is the table and I’ve even managed a puzzle on it too - a wooden gradient puzzle - absolutely beautiful 🤩. So that’s me “back in business” as it were! I just have to find some time now - my kids are off for the Summer, so it’s a bit of a juggle - there may be a lot of parent/child puzzling for a bit 😃
@@Vickymakesandbuilds sure your being kept busy,i have to get new cabinets soon for the new Lego sets that I still have to make up.my house is turning into Lego Land 😀.will make up the new ravensburger puzzle soon landmarks at night.your getting some help with the puzzling that's good, enjoy the rest of the summer😃
Beautiful puzzle-thanks for the timelapse. So it appears that adjacent Educa puzzle pieces don’t always meet exactly at their corners? Wow, that would make a puzzle so much harder for me. Great job!
You are most welcome. I quite like doing the time lapse vids - they remind me of how much fun I had building them 😍. No, they don’t always line up - I think that happens most along the centre lines of the puzzle where there is perhaps a join in the image, but there are other places too, like where the funny pieces are. The image itself makes it not so bad though, there is no mistaking a piece in the wrong place in this puzzle 😃. Thank you so much for watching 😊
@@Vickymakesandbuilds I’m currently working on a Ravensburger silver Krypt puzzle. If the piece corners didn’t line up I’d be is a LOT of trouble. :) Happy puzzling!
Hiya, Educa puzzles are loose fitting across the board as far as I know. I flipped this one and taped it, but I had to split it into sections and sandwich each section between two foam boards to do it. you can’t pick up sections of it without it falling apart.
Omg I can’t wait to see your finished Star Wars - I would love to get my hands on that one 🤩🥰. How long have you been at it so far? I think you’ll love this Educa, it’s so fun to do xx
@@Vickymakesandbuilds I hope you can find the Star Wars one day! Keep your eyes out for it and it might pop up some where! I actually started it last year! 😅 I can get a section done in 5 to 7 days, but those days are spread over a month and a half, cause i usually only puzzle on weekends. Then I took a long break between the 2nd and 3rd sections. But by golly, I'll get it done very very soon! I probably won't do another big one for a bit though.
Hi Vicky, what do you think of Educa's quality? I mean we know that the Ravensburger experience is always amazing, right? What was the experience like doing an Educa? Did the pieces stay together well? It looks a little bit like they are a looser fit than Ravensburger. Was that a problem, especially working on a giant puzzle?
Hi Liza, I like Educa’s quality, but they aren’t perfect. So, with Educa, their images are gorgeous, they have lots of large piece counts and lots of variety. The image quality is always amazing. The pieces are thick and nice. Entering the Bedroom had a good variety of piece shapes too. The only downside to Educas, in my opinion, is that they are loose fitting. You can’t move sections around unless you have built them on a piece of paper or something. You definitely can’t pick them up. This, for many, is a deal breaker, but for me, I can live with it because I love their images so much. Ravensburger is good, but to give Educa its due, it doesn’t have even a fraction of the puzzle dust that Ravensburgers have! 😆
@ thanks for your thoughtful reply 😊 Puzzle dust doesn’t bother me. I always run my new Ravensburger pieces through a colander before starting. Even though loose fitting pieces are frustrating, I think I need to give Educa a try!
I’d say definitely give it a go! Try a smaller one first though I’d say, like a 1 or 2k. That way you can decide if you can live with the looser fit for the sake of the lovely images 😍
Wow that's amazing. Just wanted to know how long did it take you to do? How many hours a day? And how much was the puzzle? I haven't done a puzzle in so long but you have inspired me to get back into doing them again thank you. Once I do this I'm going to hang it up in a frame.
Hi! Thank you 😍 I went back and looked at my notes on this puzzle as I couldn’t remember how long it took me, but it was around about 60 hours. Some of my timings are estimated, but 60 hours is about right. I couldn’t tell you how many hours a day - I built it while I was in the middle of moving house so some days I got a few hours in and others none at all. It was a bit of a chaotic time 😆. I think the puzzle cost me about £65 from UK Amazon. Thanks for your comment - I’m so happy that I’ve inspired you to puzzle again - I have a two part series on the full build of this puzzle if that’s of interest as well. I absolutely loved the image and the colours on this one. I think you’ll love it if you do get it, I also think it will look amazing framed. Another puzzle TH-camr, Russell, over at Puzzling in 2 Worlds has built this and framed it. He has a video on how he framed it too. 😍
After about 70 hours im finally done with it too!
Yaaay! Did you enjoy it?
Cool video, puzzle, and music, hope you got your shelving and table sorted 🙂.

This is on my to do puzzle list. How is the tightness of the puzzle? Can it be turned over to tape for framing?

No es complicAdo montar el puzzle
I wouldn’t say it was a complicated puzzle. It had lots of sections to sort into and build, which helped.
