I'm sure this video will open Pandora's box, in terms of whether or not "XIM" or "Cronus" counts as cheating. We all have our own opinons that I'm sure will be shared in the comments, but let's not let that take away from how hilarious the end of this match is. Enjoy!

Surs made the mistake of telling people he uses a Fusion Pro 2, one of the shittiest cheapest controllers on the market yet plays with zero recoil and perfect control. Kids so desperate to make something of his TH-cam, it's real cute.

Trust me if you understand the details of both situations they're not even remotely the same! I would recommend educating yourself on subjects before you speak on them!

Sony has already tried it. 1 week later there was the bootloader and they were back.
Microsoft doesn't care at all as they don't want to lose players, that's why many PS5 players switched to XBOX...

I called him out on a video he posted about Bannedwipe calling him a cheat as Surs is using Bannedwipe's footage of him warping all over Bannedwipe's screen while Surs screen footage is showing no one including him lagging on it. Posted time stamps on his video showing him clearly warping around on Bannedwipe's screen and he replied, "I'm a controller player on high sense and it can look jittery." What? That makes lagging around on other people's screens?

Why wouldn’t they? Bungie has not openly gone after it and with Cronus being undetectable since it doesn’t trigger anti cheat and people don’t monitor an automated system response, it’ll never be a problem. Even tho it definitely should be and some inputs simply shouldn’t be on some platforms.
Yes because it allows shitcans like these guys to get pushed up the MMR ladder where pretty much all D2 PvP content creators sit at. This is a change that I'm sure most people would thank Streamers for lmao.
with the influx of hardware cheaters and the fact they openly streamsnipe content creators... how is this a surprise? There is a literal discord of streamsnipers who's weekend missions are to trash the Trials experience for streamers.

For those who don't know or won't watch the video *Surs* openly admits to using these cheats not just that he's on TH-cam consistently making toxic content against other destiny 2 content creators.
Even had the audacity to use BannedWipes name when he called him out for cheating. Banned knows what cheats look like, when he sees it he knows it.

Trials is for everyone is worth a go at looking for a team even if you aren’t good. Trials in nfp on Sunday is usually a cakewalk anyways

Can someone explain how the XIM/Cronus cheat works? I understand the callout but dont know what they're referencing
As far as I know those are like modified mouses that are tricking the game into beliving that you are using a controller while in M&K, so you have free aim assist and magnetism while also keeping the fine tuning capabilities of a mouse, pretty sure it also has features to automatically control the recoil in weapons for you, which is outright cheating no matter the mental gymnastics the XIM/Cronus users will end up making to justify it, that's why everyone just calls them cheaters. lol
In short it allows console players to use MNK however it doesn't just allow them to do this, it also allows them to have no recoil, lots of auto aim, how fast you can shoot. Altering the game in unnatural ways.

@@pch1370 you do know that pc mnk has aim assist and magnatism right? The only main change aside from specific guns being tuned differently is reticle stickiness. Not saying using xim isn't cheating, just saying you seem to have a misperception on why it's cheating.

It a very common cheat for console, xim let people play mnk on console, (but make the game think you using controller giving you radical friction) cronos is just like soft aim bot, you need to point at them befor it locks

@VulcanOmega12 yah they are very hard to detect.xim. because it makes the xbox think you are on the controller, not the game, so the Xbox is telling the game. Oh, this guy is on the controller. So, yeah, it will be very hard to detect something like that almost impossible without help from the console itself.
@VulcanOmega12 cronos is a full deffence story. You can detect it pretty easily on the far game with set aim assist on different games. Unlike destiny, you have many different perks and 2 types of mods to increase the aim of assist. (Cronos pretty much turns aim assist (radical friction and magnetism up to max)
This is misleading cronus allows anti recoil and Macro like ability’s it also gives extra aim assist/sticky aim which is activated by the cronus turning your stick in circles really fast or slow depending on settings making aim assist activate slightly more only thing you should be worried about is mnk on console

I mean I do completely agree. That one he is using a cronus. For example in his videos even when someone isn't looking at him. His character immediately starts Crouch spamming right when his gun starts shooting his character starts Crouch spamming immediately. With no delay it all in with him using that program it increases his aim assist value

They unfortunately can't do anything about people using it since it's an "accessibility" option for people with true disabilities that prevent them from playing like the majority of the playerbase. Bungie will never fix it because someone will twist it into something like "Bungie takes away accessibility options for disabled players" even though it would just be to stop people who have no disabilities and are just abusing the game because their aim sucks. It's a tough spot unfortunately for us pvp players who just want to play.
That's a shit excuse when you have a guy that does have fucking hands beating GMs and going Flawless in Trials with a positive K/D. People have got stop using "accessibility" as a shield to allow shitcans like these jackasses to cheat.
I wish we could get concrete proof these guys are cheating. Is there not anti cheat for xim?
