Cooking tip: poke a hole on the bottom of the egg with a thumbtack before cooking. This allows water to separate the membrane from the shell and make it easier to peel without the whites sticking to the shell.
I use brown sugar instead of white and add fresh grated ginger and garlic. I'm allergic to egg so I've never even tried one but everyone that I make them for loves them and wants the recipe. 😊

I really love this channel, as he helps busy people who love food to cook delicious things at home after a long day. Yeah, there are going to be shortcuts, but I remember being exhausted after a full day of work, after picking up my young children after school, after helping with homework and after playing with them in the yard to run off their burst of energy. I still made nutritious meals that we all liked, but by the time the kids were in bed, I had nothing left over for housework and other chores. I don’t know how I did it, and I have mad respect for those with young children today. I could not do it now, but my children are now in college. Now I’m cooking for two and some cats, so it is easier. But I remember those grueling years. I don’t regret them, but even with a partner it was hard. Ramen eggs with rice and miso soup makes a great Thursday meal.
@@nicksworth5829 it’s only undercooked if the egg whites aren’t solid. As long as the whites are fully cooked, then it’s fine. If you’re that grossed out by runny yolk, you can try aiming for soft egg yolks, which are a lot tastier than hard boiled and with less chance of overcooking the egg

If you crack the soft boiled eggs and roll them on a flat surface to crack the entire shell, but leave the shell on, you can give these a cool marbled look while still marinating them.
If you have problems marinating the edges where they float and leave an unmarinated spot, lay a square of paper towel over the top of the egg. The paper towel will soak up the marinade and cover the floating spot.
I crack one into the noodles once I first turn off the heat and mix it in quick as around so it cooks lightly as you stir and coats the noodles, with a few bits too. Both ways are great, and probably more.

This looks so good. Lol.. I personally really like the taste of eggs, and they're so damned versatile. You can use them in so many different ways for so many different foods and textures, it's just so useful. I debate on cooking or learning baking, etc, so often but getting the motivation to do it is the most difficult part for me. I feel like if i started doing stuff like this, I'd probably have fun and improve my quality of life, but I'm always so exhausted and worn out mentally and physically from work that getting the drive to cook pretty much anything that doesn't require a microwave is like moving mountains. Maybe at some point after seeing enough videos like these of yours and a couple other cooks on yt shorts I can find the desire to actually act on it and make some of these things. Working full time at a retail job is just so taxing that it becomes a task to accomplish anything else. Us retail workers really appreciate the polite and thoughtful customers we help, but man, between corporate and the disrespectful customers (and the friggin teenagers), its just so exhausting. Working retail made me fully understand the get off my lawn grandfathers meme in my early 20's lol. It really do be like that. 😆

Yeah definitely even if you only bake or cook once a week! You can make delicious things that don’t take long like seared ahi salad, lobster tails, street tacos with brined bbq chicken, or even make your own pizza with store bought frozen dough, ricotta, arugula, lemon, and pepperoni with a balsamic drizzle. You just defrost the dough then slap on the toppings and bake. Easy. Make sure to use the real dough tho not those premade dry-packed pizza like boboli. You want the dough in a blob usually frozen then you just defrost it and spread it out. Another recipe I like is a sake / teriyaki baked salmon which is good and hardly takes any time at all. I also used to work retail when I was younger and it sucked. I appreciate you being there! Hopefully everyone is nice to you today!

Ramen eggs are so good personally i like using both dark and light soy sauce, mirin, garlic, green onion, and red chili flake boil the marinade for a minute or two then let it cool then marinade the soft boiled eggs for 2 days for deep flavor

Bro I had a ramen egg once and I was so sick it’s not even funny. I’m talking cold sweats, nausea, diarrhea, and constant migraines for a week. I drank 5L+ of water each day and it didn’t help at all. I will never touch one ever again
Bruh you got salmonella. Has nothing to do with it being a ramen egg specifically. Don't eat soft boiled eggs if you live in the US. Or any other country where it isn't safe to eat soft boiled eggs (don't know if it's a thing in other countries than the US).

@@robinolsson7003... I eat soft boiled eggs all the time... In America, not every egg is safe for raw consumption. But I've cooked farm eggs soft boiled and was fine... It's more of where you get the eggs from in any country.
@@robinolsson7003I've eaten raw, soft boiled, runny talks and have never been sick. The inside of an egg is sterile. Its when the inside contacts the outside that salmonella is transferred. U.S. eggs are more prone to Salmonella because its law they have to be washed and refrigerated which spreads it. Every egg has salmonella from passing through a chickens asshole. Chickens are nasty. They'll eat loogies, maggots, rotting carcasses, and even other dead chickens.
