Glad you put Jezzy in the dry lot for now. I know you and Jami are totally capable of bottle feeding if needed but Mom's milk is best for the calf, plus maybe Ruby, Dani and Jezzy will bound and create their own little sub herd
Awe sweet Jezebel had her calf. The baby is so cute, like a mini Jezzy. I'm so glad you put them together in the front pasture. Sadie has become such a wonderful guardian dog❤
My daughter is the light in my eyes. We live in different states, but we talk everyday! She has come home and taken care of me when I had to have a reverse shoulder replacement, she also came to help when I had a hip replacement. Thank goodness for those who have remote jobs! And I go visit her as well... She is my best friend!❤
Thank you Lester for keeping mom and baby together . It’s what I hoped you’d do. The OG longhorns must consider Jezzy an outsider and plus they are jealous because she’s so darn pretty! Her baby is such a mini Jezzebell!
I think the other Longhorns are obviously Jealous of Jezzy . She is the prettiest 🤩 Longhorn you have. The other Longhorns may also feel threatened by her for some reason or other. I hope with time things will get better for her. Jezzy definitely throws a beautiful Baby 🥰 ❤ I do believe that Sadie was a LGD in her previous home. She shows this with her behavior towards the baby Longhorns. I would love to see a solution where Jezzy can keep her baby and take care of it too. 😊
I'm so happy for Jezebel... she finally has someone by her side! I felt so bad that she was always by herself. She's so beautiful and so is her little Jazzy baby! What a beautiful thing to watch!
Sadie is the best protector. She knew from first sight, that baby needed her protection. Jezebel is a wonderful momma. And I’m so happy she and her baby are together!!!❤️❤️

Thank-you Lester, this makes my heart jump for joy! Mommy and baby together! It will also give Jazebel a chance to heal and bond with that baby, which by the way is SO cute.
Please keep them together. Here, we use grain, hay, and the saving grace, Alphalfa! Alphalfa gives them required goodies when served in spacific amounts. Together, together, together! XO
Jezzy and Sadie did such a great job keeping that new baby safe. Sadie is amazing. Jami was so excited to see the little one, I thinks she’s the real Longhorn King😂😂.
My mom passed away about a month ago. But honestly, I lost her slowly in stages, over a 6 year period to dementia. Dementia creeps up with it's "dispearing act" over time...without warning. Prior to the onset, my Mom was a spiritual, vibrant, healthy, loving, kind, happy person. She had a great sense of humor. I could always go to her and talk about my problems. She had a warm shoulder to cry on, and gave the best hugs.Even at her worst, even with her inabilty to commincate appropriately, or recognize people...she was still my beloved Mom. I could still recognize her love though her body was getting thinner, she was unable to feed, or care for herself. Through this, the staff described her as pleasant, cooperative, with a sense of humor. A mother's bond is so important, and affects us forever. It's a hard call with this Momma, and her calf. I'd try to keep them together. That doesn't mean to expose the baby to danger. So dry lotting them, though not ideal, sounds like a good choicd. It's good for the baby and momma to bond. Momma is caring for her baby. She wants to be with her baby. The closeness, special relationship they share may help Momma. Momma hasn't fit in since she arrived. Given the dates, she was pregnant when she got there. The baby does not belong to Tex. It seems Tex knew. Did the other females know? She's the one who has become the loner...the outcast. Do they bully her because she's isolative, or is she isolative because they bully her? Could she miss her former, or more particularly the Daddy? Look at how Tex acts up when he doesn't see his girls. She may be longing for the Daddy, and friends at her former home. Just my thoughts.
I am sorry for the loss of your mom. I am happy to hear she didn't lose her sense of humor. I lost my mom 25 years ago this year, and although it doesn't get easier, it gets better. Be well, my friend.
I lost my mom.18 years ago and lost really everyone in my family including my husband . God blessed me with a daughter daughter and son . I love them with all my heart but Yes i have to say i talk to my daughter everyday . She is my best friend. I feel all alone and i would be without my daughter . I have a grew son as i love him dearly but. Ive always heard a sons a son till he takes a wife and a daughters a daughter. All her life . Please keep them together.
I lost my mom last February. Dementia took her away from me for the last 3 years of her life. I had to put her in a senior care home and she was so mad at me but she didn’t know who I was. Eventually she settled in and was ok. I missed having talks with her. She was happy when I visited her and told me stories that sounded like she was living in her romance novels. That was ok since they made her happy. I’ve missed my mom more since she passed than I thought I would. She lived for 96 years!
HI Lester i have that relatio.nship with my grandaughter she ia my poa now that im 81 years old she is awesome and takes such good care of me . i dont need daily care i still drive my car and get around pretty good but she does things for me that are special treats. im so thankful to have her close by..

Jezzi can start her own herd with all the babies 😊 #thebeautifulmisfits. SO happy you chose to keep mama and baby together!!!! 👏🏻👏🏻 Between Jezzi and the most loyal Sadie that lot is safer for ALL the babies. ❤❤❤
I have always thought that Jezabelle is the prettiest cow at LHL! She is absolutely beautiful! The way the other cows treat her reminds me of the mean girls in high school! They are totally and completely jealous of her because she is unique and stunning!!! There is nothing that sets all of the white cows apart and now she has the most beautiful calf ever!!! I just love her so much!!! ❤🐄❤️🐄❤️🐄❤️🐄
I feel so sorry for Jezebel being ostracized by the other ladies. Her baby is so cute 🥰 I pray momma and baby do well and I hope Dani and Ruby befriend that baby.
Well you got Jezebel and her calf in the dry lot and that's the best that can be done for now. Sadie not leaving her side is awesome! I hope that Jezebel sees Sadie being good and realizes that Sadie is her and the calf's friend and protector! Sadie hasn't left Jezebel since she had the calf in the woods. It's bringing tears to my eyes because that's just so sweet. Sadie loves Ruby and Dani too. She's been so wonderful to all the babies! Thank you for the video! ❤️♥️💗💝💖💘💓💕💞💌❣️
Jezzy is a good mama, she's not happy being up front, she feels safer in the woods, but she doesn't know about the predators, she just follows her instincts. But she and baby will be safer until it's okay for them to go back out with the herd. 💖💖💖 And I am happy to say that I do have a good relationship with my daughter. 💖😉💖
My granddaughter is 3 almost 4. She and her father have lived with me since she was born. They recently moved out. I miss them so much. My granddaughter used to to watch these shows with me. ❤
My grandkids are 11&13. They moved a year ago 2 provinces away. It leaves a hole in your heart. I too miss mine like u miss yours. It’s get a little easier as time goes on. Knowing they’re happy helps. ❤
That calf is so beautiful: teeny, tiny. Definitely think you need to keep them together. Not always are your daughters your best friend however you love your children and want to teach them also you want to experience what they learn. Nothing more amazing to a mom to have a baby. Nothing more rewarding than to teach your children life experiences ❤❤❤
I’m from North Dakota so living on a cattle ranch I know that she would do just fine for a month or two on hay and grain and no grass. Our cattle go 6-7 months through the winter on only hay and grain since the ground is covered in snow.
Watching how long you fed and took care of Tex during the draught when he didn’t have grass or greens too eat it seems like Jezebel should be able too be in the dry lot for a long time. You and Jami always know what’s best.
My daughter is the sweetest and best friend I have. She has been a joy from the day she was born & is now a wonderful adult. My dear son is my buddy as well. It is a different relationship yet a wonderful one. I believe because my husband was away a lot when they were young, they became my best friends & the bond grew from there. I drove them to & from school until our daughter was old enough to do the driving. I always worked part-time (was fortunate to be able to so). I have been very blessed with my adult children and am so grateful.
My mom was my best friend growing up, even as a teenager. We kinda separated for a while for various reasons. But at the age of 41, I’m blessed to have my mom as a great friend again. That bond really can be so precious.
Leslie, you are very lucky! My mom hated me and I don’t know why. Luckily she left after my dad died (I had just turned 15) but I remember almost everyday of my childhood until she left she would tell me “I should have taken you down to the creek and drowned you when you were born like I wanted to!” So cherish the relationship you have with your mom because you are very lucky in my opinion!
@@traceyboyer8839 oh, I’m so sorry. 💔💔💔 I’ve seen firsthand how that kind of stuff messes a person up. My mom had a very similar relationship with her mom. Mom never was “good enough” for grandma, even though she was the only one that actually tried to look out for grandma. I hope you have since learned that your mom’s words never actually had anything to do with you. They were only a reflection of her inner demons. You were always good enough.
I know one thing for sure you hit the lottery with Sadie. Actually each one of the rescue dogs have their own good qualities. Every thing is gonna be OK. You and Jami always work it out and it turns out great. Love you both ❤❤🎉
Sadie is amazing! There are so many factors to consider with each and every animal let alone a baby and a mama combo. Thanks for walking us through the options and how you weigh the pros versus cons. I also appreciate how you are aware of your emotions about the situation, yet you're still able to look at things big picture wise, and make the best decision that you can, based on the information and resources you have at the moment❤
I was a single parent to my son. He has been my best friend for 38 years and counting. He actually takes care of me now. I love him and I wouldn’t know what to do without him. I have MS for last 16 years and my my son and best friend step up to help me
My mother was my best friend. When she became wheelchair-bound, I moved in with her and took care of her for 10 years. We became even closer than we already were. ( Let's face it, when you help someone on and off the potty and wipe their behinds, closeness grows even more.). She died 4 years ago, in her bed while I was lying by her side and my sister lying by her other side. You don't get much closer than this! I am still totally lost without her. I had friends, but when I couldn't go anywhere or do things with them, they began to stop asking me, but would drop by the house. Then, they stopped coming by and just made phone calls. Pretty soon, the phone calls dwindled and I stopped seeing them altogether. Now I am alone and don't go out much.
I am not a mother but an auntie, and I know how I feel for my nephews is 10x more for a mother. They would sacrifice their own wellbeing any day over being separated from their baby. This would be heartbreaking for Jezzabell, especially after she was showing off her baby to the others 🤍💜 xx
That is so sad the girls are mean to her! I hope she gets to stay with her baby so she can have a bond with someone. I hope you can convince Jezzabel to become comfortable being up around the dry lot.
Unfortunately baby will b most probably goin bac to Jezzies previous owners as Lester explained previously that it’s what was agreed wit them wen it was decided that both her n Marilyn was to stay at LHL’s n it turned out that they were already pregnant wen they came to band camp mini bull was the dad… if tex was the daddy then babe would have been able to stay… I think Lester was about to explain (but will b in the next video) that wen he was going to say y baby doesn’t have a name yet Im wit u hun in the hopes that baby can stay n b a friend for momma but i don’t wanna get my hopes up just incase the previous owners wants baby to go bac to them xxx
I feel for sweet Jezabelle as a Mother! That bond is unlike no other!! When my sweet, youngest, daughter, Cheyenne, was growing up, she absolutely could not go to bed without kissing me goodnight and telling me that she loved me! I remember one night, we had a disagreement and we lived in a four story house. I heard her little feet coming down every staircase and she said, ‘Are you going to kiss me good night or not? 🥰🥰🥰 So sweet!!! That is a bond that cannot be broken!!! I am so hoping and praying that Jezabelle and her baby girl will continue with this bond!!! She needs this!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
My daughter and I talk everyday, it hasn’t always been that way, teenage years are tough, but we got through it and I am a very proud Momma. I am very lucky to have such a wonderful daughter.
I’m 57 and my Mom (83) has been my best friend since I was 14. Today she lives with me and I am her caretaker. We have had some fights but mostly great times and memories.
My mom was always my best friend. I’d always rather go places and do stuff with her more than anyone else. Mom and I could watch one animal at the zoo for 30 min while my dad and sister were satisfied with just spotting them and moving on. 🤣
I have a 14-year-old daughter, a nine-year-old daughter, and a six year old daughter. My relationship with my oldest daughter is really good. Her and I have a lot of fun together. I also have a really good relationship with my mom, she’s one of my best friends. I go on trips with her we love spending time together. I love spending time with my oldest daughter. I’m hoping as my other two get older, they will enjoy spending time with me as much as I love spending time with my older daughter and my mom.
I was a momma's girl! She was my only & best friend in most of my life while she was here. We lost her in 2015 & there's been a big hole in my heart since then. She was my prayer warrior & I miss talking to her every day! I hope it works with momma & baby together safely & baby will still become friendly with her humans. God bless & guide you the best decision!
Hi Shawna I am so sorry for your loss of your daughter I can only imagine what you're going through😢 My daughter is 42, and she's such a blessing to me and has been since the day she was conceived. I can't imagine what life would be like without her Again, I'm so sorry for your loss, and I'm gonna say a prayer for you for strength, comfort, courage and peace in your heart🙏✝️💔❤️🩹💕
@proudboxermom3104 Hello. I guess there's a Lil mix up. My mom was the one who I was talking about. My daughter is thank God still alive & living with me. She is why I keep going. She is development delayed so she has a child-like logic mentally but the past couple yrs now she has developed other mental issues & is now on med to help with it. But it breaks my heart to see her go through so much! It's so hard without my mom's support & prayers. I know my Jesus is with us otherwise I don't think I could handle all this. I also lost my brother just under 3 yrs after my mom! Knowing they're both no longer in pain & suffering makes the losses more bearable. Thank you for your caring response. God bless you, your daughter & family. Always let them know you love them!
@@shawnakenton9682 OMG, Shawna, I was just waking up when I read your comment and thought you were talking about your daughter. Oops 😬, my bad! Well, now I CAN empathize with you about your mom. I lost my mom ~ 13 years ago to a heart attack. 😢 It was quite a shock cuz she never had any heart problems-She was 80 years old and tired of living...that's what she told me during our last phone conversation. I still think about her everyday and miss her ever so much 😢! Well, I'm so glad that it wasn't your daughter who passed away because the loss of a child, no matter how old they are, is something that most people (especially mothers) NEVER get over Shawna, thank you for sharing your story, even though I got it wrong 🙄😅 God Bless you and your daughter, and you're right about Jesus Christ is ALWAYS with us and will NEVER leave us or forsake us🙏✝️💜
My daughter and I are best friends. Ever since she was little we had a very open and trusting relationship and it got even stronger when she had my granddaughter. I truly hope they can continue and have the same love and friendship that Deanne and I have 🩷🩷🩷🩷
Well another idea is all the calves and jezebel and baby could be another herd with Jezebel being the leader of that group. The other cows don't really take notice of Dani or Ruby, so maybe Jezebel can be matriarch of these little ones. Just a thought.
I'm so glad you are keeping mama Jezebel and daughter together. I think that's the best course of action. Dry lot or not, they deserve a chance of being together to develop that mother daughter bond.
Lester, please don’t let that baby go back down in the woods even if you have to bottlefeed it do so and try to get mama up there in that dry lot. This is the most beautiful calf I have ever seen please keep it.❤️❤️❤️
Lester, I think you should keep the baby in the house safe and sound and give the baby a bottle several during the night because I don’t think the mom’s gonna come back till tomorrow morning
I divorced at 43...i can't imagine what live without my 4 daughters would have been like...fast forward 24 years the 5 of us are very closed...people call us the Fantastic 5 ❤
I had a good relationship with my mother. We were still buying matching outfits when I was in my 50s... I'm happy you left them together with Sadie helping out.. Good show, Lester!
I agree. Trace her in the front pasture. Supplement her grains, dry and green hay and then cut forage materials and bring it up to her ! !! Keep hex’s and baby together so they are safe. You are just going to have to supplement in multiple ways.
❤She is so beautiful and adorable, her eyes the fur are thicker the color of her ears just blended, welcome home. Congratulation LHL and thank you Lester&Jamie and Shady 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
As a Mum with a daughter who cut contact because she only wanted to ‘focus’ on herself, I understand the dilemma taking her only friend away, as I have no one else either. Ultimately, as much as it hurts beyond words, it is more important your child is happy (and safe) than anything else, even at the cost of yourself as a mother. That’s what Mums do..whatever is best for our child comes first, and they are not responsible for your happiness, or loneliness. Hard lesson learnt😢
I can identify with you so much. I have one child, a son. He's a grown man now. When hr went away to college, he basically cut us off emotionally. I was heartbroken. I didn't understand it at all. I do now. He needed to find his own identity, but the pain lasted for years.
Good for you, Lester!!! On a farm, sometimes we have to do what is best for the Mother and Baby as a whole. We all know that you will feed Mom what she needs and maybe occasionally let her eat green grass on lawn or if you mow use catcher. But those 2 are bonding and baby needs the benefit of Moms early milk. It is IMPORTANT! You made the right choice for their safety. Love hoe Sadie keeps the best eye on all the babies. She is an awesome dog and she gets to live her best life there. She feels wanted and important! Cheers & Blessings 👍💕
I think the lady who said for Ruby, Dani, Jezebel & baby to form their own herd is a perfect option. ❤
Yes…they could eventually merge but jezzy will have baby and 2 new friends and she’ll go from loner to leader.
I agree
Keep her in the dry lot. Feed grains and hay. Don’t take her away she’s a good mom
Yes and maybe some grass grazing in the backyard..
I think that the guy who owns the cow should decide on bottle feeding but definitely not in the woods
Free at last, free at last is what the female cattle may be thinking.
0:51 yes Lester! Agree

I’m so glad you kept her with her momma. I just can’t get over how special Sadie is, what a blessing.

That Sadie is a guardian Angel for Jezzy and the baby calf she hasn't left their side what a awesome dog.

Great idea about the new herd...
I LOVE this idea! My only fear is that Ruby can be a little aggressive sometimes. But, maybe a new baby will simmer her down a little bit🤔
I sure hope Jezzy, her baby, Ruby and Dani form their own herd. Well done, Longhorn Lester! 💜💜💜

The baby is a mini of mama, the markings look almost identical! Absolutely adorable! I love it! 🙌😍💜
I am surprised Tex still has vocal chords left. ❤
Lol…isn’t that the truth! 😂
😂😂😂😂
You feed them Lester and keep them together! Life isn’t fair as we all know and sometimes you need a little help!!!
Good job Lester! The baby calf is beautiful! I love how Sadie is alwaysnearbyforprotection! And the kitties always find their way in the videos!🤣💕
I’m from North Dakota so living on a cattle ranch I know that she would do just fine for a month or two on hay and grain and no grass. Our cattle go 6-7 months through the winter on only hay and grain since the ground is covered in snow.
I like how that turned out. Jezzy is a good protector for the calves. Hope you can keep them this way.
Glad that you got them into the dry pasture 😄 The baby is beautiful and I love the coloring ❤️😍❤️
hand feeding through winter turn soil (teel) help absorb water like farm crop😊😊😊😊😊
Watching how long you fed and took care of Tex during the draught when he didn’t have grass or greens too eat it seems like Jezebel should be able too be in the dry lot for a long time. You and Jami always know what’s best.
My daughter and I are the closest of friends, don't know what I would do without her. Keep them in the dry lot together, she's a good mama.
My personal feelings, keep Mom and Baby together. 🤩
I had a great relationship with my Mum. She passed a few years ago and I still miss her greatly.
Well said!
I agree 💯 %!!
❤️❤️❤️
Protect that little one at all cost... poor Jezabell.....i wish the others werent being mean 😢😢
It’s because she’s a different color
I am not a mother but an auntie, and I know how I feel for my nephews is 10x more for a mother. They would sacrifice their own wellbeing any day over being separated from their baby.
This would be heartbreaking for Jezzabell, especially after she was showing off her baby to the others 🤍💜 xx
That is so sad the girls are mean to her! I hope she gets to stay with her baby so she can have a bond with someone. I hope you can convince Jezzabel to become comfortable being up around the dry lot.
Unfortunately baby will b most probably goin bac to Jezzies previous owners as Lester explained previously that it’s what was agreed wit them wen it was decided that both her n Marilyn was to stay at LHL’s n it turned out that they were already pregnant wen they came to band camp mini bull was the dad… if tex was the daddy then babe would have been able to stay…
I think Lester was about to explain (but will b in the next video) that wen he was going to say y baby doesn’t have a name yet
Im wit u hun in the hopes that baby can stay n b a friend for momma but i don’t wanna get my hopes up just incase the previous owners wants baby to go bac to them xxx
She is precious! Prayers for this tiny calf and 1st. Time cow❤❤❤.
My son is my best friend. Keep them together. Goooooo🎉🎉❤
That little munchkin is as cute as can be! Job well done Lester!💞
I remember how Tex was alone and his depression. Please, Lester put them in the dry lot. She needs her baby!
I agree please keep together but I notices Sadie keeping an eye in things. She is such a good dog.
So glad you kept Jezebel and baby together.. great video!
Jez and her baby are gorgeous! Beautiful markings!
Awwww! Sadie…. You’re the best!!!! Such a protector!
Hi Shawna
I am so sorry for your loss of your daughter
I can only imagine what you're going through😢
My daughter is 42, and she's such a blessing to me and has been since the day she was conceived. I can't imagine what life would be like without her
Again, I'm so sorry for your loss, and I'm gonna say a prayer for you for strength, comfort, courage and peace in your heart🙏✝️💔❤️🩹💕
@@proudboxermom3104I believe she was talking about her mother.
@@proudboxermom3104 she lost her momma.....not her daughter. But your thoughts are precious.

OMG, Shawna, I was just waking up when I read your comment and thought you were talking about your daughter.
Well, I'm so glad that it wasn't your daughter who passed away because the loss of a child, no matter how old they are, is something that most people (especially mothers) NEVER get over
Shawna, thank you for sharing your story, even though I got it wrong
🙄😅
God Bless you and your daughter, and you're right about Jesus Christ is ALWAYS with us and will NEVER leave us or forsake us🙏✝️💜
I would keep them in the dry lot till the baby gets bigger and stronger you take real good care of your animals love you Jamie and Lester ❤
My daughter and I are best friends. Ever since she was little we had a very open and trusting relationship and it got even stronger when she had my granddaughter. I truly hope they can continue and have the same love and friendship that Deanne and I have 🩷🩷🩷🩷
I would say she is a premie, so in love ❤️ 😍 💖
Glad to see you keeping them together
Glad to see them together. 🎉
I am so happy you were able to get mama & baby together in a safe place. Hopefully, all will be well. She's such a pretty calf.
This is the most beautiful calf I have ever seen please keep it.❤️❤️❤️
The calf doesn’t belong to Lester , it belongs to the man he got Jessy from
Lester, I think you should keep the baby in the house safe and sound and give the baby a bottle several during the night because I don’t think the mom’s gonna come back till tomorrow morning
So sweet baby running along with mom to get together ❤😊
You both have some selfish kids
What a hard decision to make 🥺☹️They both seem great together and having a bond❤
Thank you for keeping mom and calf together.
