A real man is one who has learned humility. I am 78 years old and heard that as a child and it still holds true today. just now as I watched this video I heard a real man speak and it was my pleasure to listen to him. Thank you for sharing your story!

There's nothing to be sad or ashamed of Noah because when we fail, as we all do at times, we are experiencing one of the steps to success. The only real failure is when we don't learn from the experience. It's obvious that you have studied your past decisions and paid attention to the mistakes and have taken care to learn and apply what you have learned. That's success, or at least a giant step in the right direction. There are many more adventures in the Fight of Faith left ahead. Keep your trust in the Lord and seek Him first and all else will fall in line.

Wayne, I couldn’t of written this any better! Noah, is an outstanding man from learning through this experience and starting all over again. His children are learning greatly from watching their father. For a young couple sticking together and experiencing all this, sure shows the love they have for each other and a great promise of sticking side by side each other in their future! The people who are watching Noah’s videos and not subscribing, please do. It sure helps out his channel greatly!! I love this channel!!! 🤗

Yes, he’s mentioned his other herd but he was under no obligation to expose his & his family’s heartbreak, trials, tribulations & unfortunate downfalls. He told us because he is an honest, kindhearted person that doesn’t want anyone else to have to suffer/endure what he and his family went through. People need to know that farming is difficult, complex, that you need a lot of support and a LOT OF KNOWLEDGE. I think sometimes people see folks that have been doing it for a long time with a smooth operation and do not realize what it took to get here from scratch. Sometimes people see a family farm where the person they see today as an adult grew up on a functioning farm and inherited the knowledge and the facilities. To start from being a city slicker and going into homesteading or farming is NOT EASY or automatic. IT IS EXPENSIVE. As someone once said a farmer is a BUILDER. Laying pipes, building sheds and barns and places for animals to water and shelter. TELLING people how hard it is lets THEM KNOW if they want to this what it takes. Thank you for being honest and detailed.

Noah, as an elderly person, I know we all make a lot of mistakes in our life. The important thing is that we learn from them. I think it sounds like you have learned quite a bit in those 10 years from your early twenties to your thirties. You have found what you want to do in life, which is something a lot of us never settle on all of our life, and that is another big learning opportunity, and I’m thinking you are up to it and are going to enjoy it. You have a lovely ranch and a great start to your herd, so enjoy and experience!

Youth and inexperience often combine with stubbornness to result in lessons of life learned the hard way. Those are the ones you never forget. No one is perfect including the harsh critics. The only ones you may owe an explanation to is your family but never think you owe an explanation to a TH-cam viewer who doesn't know you but thinks they have right to be critical after watching a video of yours. 💕

None of us grow without making mistakes and picking ourselves up to try another day. I'm in my 60s still making mistakes in someone's eyes. Remember this..we are all only given one life. It's up to you to choose how you want to live yours...no one can make you happy but yourself.
It takes a real solid man to admit when he's wrong and not blame others for those choices. Your moving forward, so don't let others tell you differently. If you see a negative comment ignore, delete,, and move on. It doesn't take any courage to sit behind a keyboard typing out nasty comments. Blessings to you and your family.

I have also had to learn the hard way with some things. One of the biggest lessons is that you have to be on the bottom looking up to truly respect the journey. You have such a wonderful story of perseverance that really needs to be shared. You’re a good man Noah, trying to do the right thing for your family. Unfortunately there is not a whole lot of grace in people these days, but it’s not their grace you need. You hit it right about the mercy and grace of God, that is all you need. The rest will fall into place.

God Bless to you, your family, and your animals.

Just watched your video on Why I sold all of our Bison. That was quite the journey of loss and growth personally and professionaly. Love your humble approach and honesty. I watch you often and enjoy watching. 8 years ago I visited my son who was stationed at Fort Sill in Lawton Oklahoma. While there we went out into the rural goverment land and saw the Buffalos/Tonka. So the interest was started there. I wish you all the success you work for and then some. You have a family that has been on video a few times mostly your little one. Thanks for sharing . I'm so sorry y'all went through this. Losing the animals is gut wrenching. I grew up on my grandmother's stories as told by her grandmother about buffalo. We learn from past failure & new experiences. Now you're rebuilding. You are committed & dedicated. I think your heart is fully into building your herd. I think your going to do well. 🦬

We bought “blank” land. Took almost 20 years to get in all the infrastructure - house, shop, barn, fencing, water, electricity, roads, ponds. Had to clear it before we could even get started. You are still very young. You did the right thing getting out of debt. You will be fine.

I wish I could have a place to put a couple caves even if we have to bottle feed them, in hopes of them being a bit tamer. The Buffalo have been a favorite of mine for the most of 72 years, Thank you for sharing your story with us, Be hang the others with their stupid comments. I feel you did the best you could under the circumstances. I have a grandson & like you he knows it all... Sure hopes he grows up & begins to see the light... Prayers for you & your family, for the new bison, may God protect you all. In his name I ask. Shirley

@brokenarrowbison hope secular work has become more stable for you. That is what we went thru in our early days. Husband was a hard worker but first in the aircraft manufacturing sector and then after teachers college in the education sector. Hard on a family. You have a good handle on the bison. I follow Dusty and know what a kind thing you did for him. I also follow Black Acre Bison. He might have more bison than you do but has a lot of learning to do

Hi, glad yall are ok! There's a young man who started from scratch, go to cross timber bison!...he's had ups and down's too, was introduced to an awesome vet and some great bison people who are willing to help others get started. Go talk to him, really nice guy! Only thing I notice is you seemed to dive into everything all at once, and get overloaded. This go, slow down, stick to bison first, talk to good bison people, after things are more stable, and you've had time to learn more about bison, maybe you can add another animal...Maybe get a SMALL garden going...hang in there, it takes time to learn new things!

You did the right thing. Don't second guess yourself. Farming livestock is not for the faint of heart. At the end of the day you know you created the new ranch from ground up yourself, and you don't owe anyone anything. People on tubeu love to criticize, judge, and hate - very toxic. I love bison. Trust yourself.

Very brave of you to tell your story to the public like you have done. Just remember that the people who criticize you probably haven't ever really taken a chance in their life. The only good thing about thing about your critics is that they are views that you get paid for. Don't listen to them you have paid your dues the hard way and you will be successful I am sure. I am 74 years old and have had my ups and downs and the best thing I have done was to get out of debt and stay out of debt. Something you have learned.
