Good video. What would it look like to start from a fresh tool bar and get new row units vs. trying to just buy a whole new planter? I have about 1 to 1.5 inch overlap on the openers after planting this season, does that sound about right after 2 years of no-till? Will replace next season, bevel is gone.

This planter is a 2009 and we traded a 2012 for it. All wear parts replaced and row units blasted and repainted. Then all the Precision Plant upgrades. It was just over half the price of building the same thing new from Deere. To build a new Deere or start with a Harvest International bar and do electric meters, hydraulic downforce, and row cleaners would've been $350k.
I don't think you'll ever hurt yourself replacing openers more often.
