Thank you so much for showcasing our game-it's truly an honor! We learned a lot from your insightful commentary and are thrilled to hear you enjoyed the demo.
Thank you so much for sharing PaperKlay! I knew I should've updated the demo since the jump isn't as floaty anymore :D It feels a lot better now! I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts about the game so far, totally agree with your thoughts on having more crafty/fold gameplay than there is now.
I usually am digging for all the upcoming 3d platformers I can find and still hadn't heard of a couple of these. They all look great! Thanks for highlighting these!
PLEASE give Mr. Sleepyman a spotlight. The game's world changes depending on what actions and objectives you do. It's also got this nice lofi bedtime feel to it as well
It's things like this that makes me feel assured that the industry is going to be fine, no matter how hard the AAA space crashes and burns. There's never a scarcity of talent and passion in this community. All these games look amazing, but I do look forward to Project Timi and Gecko Gods the most.
Hey, Narrative Designer for Project Timi Sasha's Curse here. Thank you for checking out our game :D As a fellow reviewer I must also say I really dig your analytical style. You've made me curious about all of the other games you mentioned and put them on my radar.
crazy, I remember seeing one of the first videos the devs of sunhara mde about their game and I could never find it again. glad to see theyre still working on it
Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom came out this year, and is hands down my favourite 3D Platformer I've played since *Super Mario Oddyssey!* Yes, it's *that* good.
I recently found the Paperklay dev logs and they were really interesting. Another promising 3d platformer in development with similar dev logs is "Misc. A tiny tale". Not sure if this was features on the channel before.
Oooo. I haven’t heard of Gear Grit yet. Jak and Daxter and Ratchet and Clank are my favorite games from the past. Above Spyro and Crash. So I am very excited for that one. And I see a lot more new ones here. I hope they all get to be fully developed but only time will tell. They look very fun
since you mentioned Koa (which I loved, it was short, but I had a blast with it), make sure your eye is on Mika and The Witch's Mountain! Same developer, I only found out about Koa because I had backed Mika...not a traditional platformer, a lot more emphasis on flight. It's essentially Kiki's Delivery Service, as a game. Explore a 3d world, meet people and deliver packages on your broom! I'm crazy excited about it!
I don’t even really have to look for platformers because of your channel 😂 Another good platformer that comes out in a week from now is yellow taxi goes vroom. Not sure if you already talked about it before (I think you did, but I don’t remember). It has a really good demo out
I love this video series! Here are other upcoming 3d platformers I have my eye on (that I don't think you featured in the series yet) Bolt Bot Screwy Viruses Europa Another Crab's Treasure Misc. A Tiny Tale Isopod: A Webbed Spin-off A Rat's Quest - The Way Back Mr. Sleepy Man Lorcan: Legends of the Fae Mika and the Witch's Mountain Flit The Fruitbat Tiny Terry's Turbo Trip Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom
Big thanks for my friend, Dust Bunny, for joining me for this video today! Couldn't have done it without him!

It looks interesting and very vibrant! I look forward to tryign it out.
Thanks for interviewing me for GearGrit!
Your gameplay footage of the game makes it look so much better than it is haha😂
Thank you! And trust me, the game already looks great!
13:24 Boy, I really wish I knew what the scope and the scale of the game was in comparison to Super Mario Sunshine

Thanks for the interview and the great questions!
I'm glad to see that the indie 3D Platformers sphere is doing well!
Thank you for agreeing! Your insight really helped make this video something special!

Yeah, they seem really passionate about the game. I think it's going to be a good one.
Love the recap at the end with the different categories that the games fall under. Also, nice writing and presentation in general.
Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom came out this year, and is hands down my favourite 3D Platformer I've played since *Super Mario Oddyssey!* Yes, it's *that* good.
Would also be nice to see "A Hat in Time 2." I'd like to see what Gears for Breakfast would showcase in the sequel.

Nice feature!

Yeah, I'm really excited for GearGrit. Definitely one I'm going to be keeping an eye on for the long run.
I'm so happy that this 3D platformer genre is coming back!

Thank you for this video, nice to see more 3d platformers. Have you also checked out: Eternity egg ? really hope that one releases this year
No, I've missed that one! I'll have to check it out!

I saw that musical on TH-cam for "Billie Bust Up," but I had no idea that it's for a game, or Gooseworx was involved.
Awesome to see!
How could you not reference Gex when covering The Gecko Gods? 😂
unfortunately electrokinetic has been put on hold by rittz for a lack of direction and what they want to with it
Oh Gecko Gods looks cool, let me add it to my wishli- Why is it already there?
billie bust up has a rabbit. i'll be getting.
Definitely my favorite genre of video game
I swear i heard something about a new game like Banjo Kazooie coming out as an indie title i believe, not Yooka Replaylee.
Banjo remake being developed by toys for bob ❤
Add Jamphinian to your list!
billie bust up is coming soon,
you forgot Only High
Bug catched?
Didn't even mention Corn Kidz 64, smh.
It’s already out
Man all of these suck, very disappointing. looks like 3D platformers are winding down for another long nap.
high standards much? these are all indev, they're all *upcoming*
