Rattling (Loose) Agitator Motor Pulley on a Kuppet Model 1040603500 and 1040603600 Washer

This is for the Kuppet model 1040603500 and 1040603600 washer.
My washer sounds like it has a bag of metal marbles in it.
It was a loose pulley on the agitator motor.
I understand this is not an uncommon problem for these units.
I hope someone finds this video useful, funny or both.
Tools you will need:
1. #2 Phillips screwdriver
2. 5/16" Socket
3. 3/8" Wrench
4. 12" Extension
5. Ratchet
6. 3/8" to 1/4" Socket Adapter.
Tip: Put BLUE Loctite (NOT RED!) on set screw threads.
Yes Rodney Byrd, I have better tools but I was using my "Home" tools. Not everything requires Snapon! And yes, I'm keeping my day job! I know that I suck at making videos! You should give it a try!

I taught myself how to do everything such as replacing the wash timer & spindry timer, & replacing the wash belt. Here lately I've been having the hardest time trying to figure out which part to repair to stop the high-pitch screeching noise on both the wash side & spindry side. Great video, if U have any info or have spotted another video of someone who shows which part causes the screeching noise issue, much gratitude to U. I was able to stop it temporarily on the spindry side squirting a little WD40 to the metal rod that spins the basket, but then that didn't stop it for good. As for the wash side, I replaced the belt but I'm not for certain if the screeching is the pulley or not.

Good deal. That's why I made this video. I really like the washer but I think they had some quality control issues in manufacturing. There are many people reporting the same issue...

My motor is humming, nothing is working but the belt is fine. the spin side still worked. is my motor blown or what? this is BRAND NEW second wash it stopped
My pulley is wobbly causing the agitator not to spin unless assisting it by hand.
My mini kuppet machine makes a clicking sound when washer is in use, when I turn the spinner with my hand no noise and also when there is no clothes in the washer no clicking sound what do you suggest I do
Take the back cover off and check the pulley.
So my Kruppet stopped agitating, but it doesn't make any noises. Just doesn't agitate. I took the back off, and all I can tell is the belt is in the right place and intact. Any ideas? Spinner works great.
I have the exact same problem. What tool did you use to tighten the set screw and how did you manage to put your hand through the machine.?
5/16 socket and a foot long extension. It wasn't easy but you can manage to get your hand in there. I have very large hands and arms..

I am an amateur to say the least. Once you remove the screw on the pully did you move up or down? How do you know when it's in the right place before putting the screw back?

Mine will not hold water. What would you suggest to fix it? The agitator also has like a stall or sputter every time it turns
I'm not an expert on those machines. I bought one because it was cheap and I managed to make it work but I don't recommend it as compared to a more expensive and better built machine. I suspect your issue might be do to a leaking pump but I have no idea on the stall.

Same... According to customer service it's a belt in issue ... Said the belt is lose. Going to try the fix and will keep u updated

@cindy needed a new rubber bushing and tighten belt... Seems to be working... Got the bushing at Ace Hardware for less than $2.... Just lots of patience ... Hope this fixes it's too

@@kevindowd31021 last time i spoke to kuppet on Instagram , they told me they had a mini fridge and a few other more expensive things. Idk if this person commenting is actually kuppet though.
