Thank you so much for the informative video! I’m hoping to attain my PA degree in the US (where i’m from), then practicing in Ghana when I’ve completed my studies. I absolutely loved my time in Ghana & see myself building a future there. Out of curiosity, can PAs live comfortably on their salary in Ghana? Hello , I’m glad the video helped.
Yes I think PAs are comfortable when they do more shifts and the good thing is ,most of the private facilities hire PAs more .
I recommend that you visit the Ghana medical and dental council website and learn about transitioning from a foreign trained PA into practicing here . In any case , you’d need to sit for the Licensing exams , pass and do a 1 year internship to be eligible for practice.
