I've been playing with the sound off for months. After watching this I will turn it back on as I realize the amount of effort that was put into the music of the game
it feels wierd because i'm so used to hearing this in the game whenever im on the map and hearing it live sounds a little off but it makes sense in my mind.
I think it's because of imbalance between different instruments on the recording. Don't know if it's me but for example the flute or what is that is almost dying sometimes where it is supposed to play the melodic line.
Its really good to have Langrisser Mobile BGM in symphony but this orchestra didn't perform very well. There were many lose notes and broken parts... The harmony was not there sadly.
This band lacked enough practice, leading to horrible problems in intonation, especially in the strings group. In addition, since the original music was directly made with DTM, the orchestral arrangement was not optimized well before it was turned into a live performance, so the strings could not be played in a good pitch range, which also led to the failure of this terrible show. But it was lucky to see it live.
Ok but Im sure another orchestra can do better as the performance seems a little dead to me and the overall sound/balance... not too great. Even the video playing in the background doesnt portray the music or synchronize well. Maybe it is the recording quality but still... Zloong shouldve gotten another conductor or maybe another orchestra to perform the pieces. Great expectations much disappointment.
Also it irritates me to no end that many of them dont even bother to look at the conductor. Why? Because he is so dead and boring nothing is worth looking at. Just like the way he conduct the piece, shouldve just used a metronome!
