To be clear, wordpress is not free because it's open source. It's free because it's GPL licensed. Open source simply means the code is not compiled or encrypted, so you have full access to modify it to your needs. Excellent video, though. Especially if you want interactive websites with loads of full-blown applications running inside of the website. Just knowing WordPress alone might get you a job at a local newspaper for their online stuff or maybe creating a very, very simple advertising website for a small-to-mid size company. But making websites like Amazon.com or even Walmart.com, they are going to demand that you know more than just WordPress. Even major websites like TH-cam, Facebook, Blizzard gaming ect reply on coders, not WordPress guys.
