Did you know that we have two types of verbs in English?
They are action verbs (or dynamic verbs) and state verbs (also called “stative verbs” or “state of being verbs”).
There are even some verbs that can be BOTH action verbs and stative verbs, depending on the use and context! We’ve also got some special grammar rules about state verbs, and today you’ll learn all about them.
I’ve made the lesson guide available for you to download for free - just click on the link under this video and enter your e-mail address to receive that free PDF download.
Hope that helps you understand the difference between action verbs and stative verbs, as well as how we use them!
If you want to understand and really master English grammar so that you can use it successfully without thinking too much about all these rules, come join my Advanced English grammar course.

I think you meant to say:
      "I don't intenD".
But what do you mean by "scrappy".
"scrappy" has a meaning that doesn't make sense, I mean, it doesn't fit with what you texted.

@@fredylopez2477 dear Fredy, thanks for your correction. You’re certainly right about my confusion of the noun with the verb. I can’t thank you enough for your remark. About “scrappy”, I definitely do not agree with you. I believe it perfectly makes sense in my message.

I saw à lot of sentences with " I've been wanting to...." but technically want is a stative verb ?

4:05 When used as a gerund state verbs are not continuous, but... a gerund. A continuous form requires the auxiliary "to be" and a present participle. Both, present participle and gerunds are in the ing-form, nevertheless a gerund cannot be called "continuous".
4:39 "containing a pair of earrings" is not a prepositional phrase but a reduced adjective clause using the present participle "containing".
This whole section of the video is not well thought out what concerns the grammar.

I think you meant to say:
    -"I intenD to be scrappy".
But what do you mean by "scrappy", according to its meaning I think the word doesn't fit with what you texted.
I might be wrong but that's the way I see it.
