Thanks for the podcast. She is being haunted in Kerala for writing about her spiritual experience and you know why she is being haunted, threatened etc.
She is going to create a wave in movie industry through her book and for sure she is going to be boycotted for writing and talking about the spiritual journey.

First part of Patanjali's Yoga is YAMA. Which litrally means bringing your 5 senses back to their places and not letting them flying aroud to all the places.
She experienced the YAMA and that's it. Beyond that there are 7 Stages to climb and feel, I don't know what will be her reaction after that.

All the best to Leena Kumar on her self-actualization journey. It is a path for some for sure. Introspection and self acceptance by drowning out the noise around whenever possible is the first step regardless of which path you choose. Kushal's take on life and one's role is the one that resonates for me. I prefer not to use any labels as they are restrictive or boxy. and frankly overused especially in the medical field to use drugs. I would describe myself as non-theistic, materialistic (need roti,kapda, makaan sense), but not avaricious or ambitious materially, like basic comforts, accepts, warts and all and celebrates my Hindu privilege and believes in a live and let live mantra. People get lost in the trees and miss the path through the forest. One has to step back to see with clarity the oneness of it all, how how miniscule we are, and how foolish we are to base our life on our self importance to others as well as ourselves. As Socrates said, 'to know thyself is the beginning of Wisdom". With wisdom come many answers to one's problems in life.
Good to hear from Lenaa once again - those who see the profoundness in the views, don't need an explanation, those who don't, make memes from it
you know that first 10 minutes she is describing Vipasana.
Maybe some day I'll have enough money to afford trying out these experiences. Used to have such questions long back but they all disappeared as life got hard.

When we i studied charvaaka philosophy then i realised its not good for society...
how is it not good ? I mean I don't agree with the part where they say "Be in debt but enjoy your life. Drink and let your senses take over you". I'm against that ideology. But the materialism and atheism part hasn't gone in the wrong direction has it ?
