- In this Episode, we hear from conservator Barbara Wills how she went about making the repairs that were needed to restore the Sherborne cartonnage to it's former glory.
It's also a big moment for Verena and the whole team when they finally flip both the base and the lid and see what's happening on the flipside.

I REALLY believe you on this channel, and the BM are on to something, showing this conservation and restoration project. How about the other conservation areas of the BM? Stone, metal, fabric, ceramic, paper, velum, even human remains! I certainly believe that such episodes as you have so expertly filmed of the behind the scenes work of the BM, SHOULD continue. Nothing in the end is original or objects don’t last forever.
You could just stop handling and jacking around with it and see if it's "preserved" by being left as-is.
