It was because of good loot.

2:55:00. I was just thinking about the explodey Z’s…and there comes the curveball! These are fun! Lol.
I was trapped on a roof during this curveball and I had a hoard and a juggie chasing me. It actually worked to my benefit…threw a pipe bomb from the roof I was on and thanks to the explodey Z’s, that one pipe bomb killed the hoard AND the Jug!
If you put a break on a gun it makes many of them strong enough to drop a human npc with one shot to the head. You then can follow up with a double tap while they are on the ground and it usually kills them without them also turning.
Yea, i think i one tapped with 22 cal with brake just a couple of days ago, it was medics mission spawned hostiles so idk if they are weaker or not, that lethal btw.

The comment you made in last video regarding Ferals, I like how you worded it. I used to be like that and jump on cars.. now I just mess with them and dodge. Yea its on Nightmare but gives me practice for when I take the leap onto Lethal. That was just by watching your game play when you encounter them, your gameplay has helped so many people even me. You are awesome dude, can't wait till you encounter a black heart.. I have not seen one since the update so I will be trying different things when I do get one. I will hire enclaves I don't want and just test stuff out. hahaha :D
I'm relatively new here, recently finished watching your Lethal for new players series, already subscribed and watching more videos. Just wanted to say you are really wholesome and an overall good guy. I'm glad I stumbled across your channel, I can watch a great game and (for one of the few times) actually relate to and engage with the person behind it. It's more like the gameplay is sort of an addition to listening to a podcast.
And the viewers also do not fall short of the standards you yourself set; This seems like a great community that I'm happy to be a part of.

For they guy trying to play his forever communiy on Xbox one, he needs to look at his community locker if he can. The more stuff you have in there the slower the game runs. Because the game tries to load it all in, and if it's very old community with a very large storage... it struggles.

Hey Brian, I just noticed early on you try to open a door and it's locked so you try to force it multiple times making extra noise and taking more time. If you're unaware, if a door is locked you can back out and sprint into it for a guaranteed break in. It still makes the same noise but it's 100% guaranteed to open the door.

@@chuckElegend I have checked sound radius on the minimap and checked how many zombies on average show up. Always the same. Not sure where your data is from, but I've been playing for over four years, did a ton of testing, and it's my go-to on lethal for locked doors. 🤷🏼♂️

This is awesome. It’s like a whole different game. After seeing you play for hours, it’s very clearly messing up your flow (in a good way).
I do have a question; why not draw zombies towards hostile survivors in order to preserve resources? Hostiles are so strong in higher difficulties but I like to just drive my car around their house beeping the horn non stop. The best is when they have a gas grenade launcher and end up launching it at a zombie 2 feet from them inside their base and they end up killing themselves (though I don’t know if they’re taking damage from their own gas or just from the zombies attacking them).
It could be just me, but when I use a light crossbow, I always get more bolts back.

hope you actually get a black heart for this bc they really suck. good luck for this you're really going to need it. i just had a curveball that made zombies explode with fire melee. one explosion NEARLY killed my survivor but it also caused a chain reaction killing the heart very quick. dude you pay way too much attention to the chat you're wasting daytime and making yourself open to attacks.

If you have enough resources to push one more heart push the warehouse by landmark outpost? You can park in cheese position for one below and jump between, easy. Then game won once you can multiply samples and make scent block (meta non adventurous player talking, lol)

Your know what they should do to make those piercing crossbow actually viable? Make it so its pierces blood feral armor and one shots them, that would require skill to use but would be a nice addition.
How would that require any skill
You simply point shoot and insta kill it (also it would make 50 cal even worse than they already are)
What actually requires skill is taking down a feral with light/normal crosbow due to bad reload time

Bandages are not so bad you know, if you use them and then dodge after, it keeps healing you without impending your movement, i havent seen you use any so idk if you know about.
How did you wipe your ptr files? I'm having the same issues you were and have tried literally everything and can't get the curveballs to show up. I've deleted all my communities and everything. I've even deleted the game and reinstalled it
i went into the saved game folder and copied everything in my live game folder all my saves and user save data and deleted everything in my PTR folder and replaced it with my live stuff and it worked for me

My game always crashes. I keep curve balls off due to how buggy they are. Black heart npc got no weakness as guys doa when take a sample😂. Car rockets you into air after you kill the one that drains fuel. You become a human nasa rocket after you try fill up your car😂. Death from fall drop from sky so screw that crap for now there off and wont be doing any untill i get more expendable rep for talons😅 looking forward to seeing how far you can go brian

no its just hard to read chat when theres 1000 people all talking about 1000 different things and trying to play a game at the sametime on top of the fact 99% of people never tag me they just type and expect me to see it which is close to impossible so yes responding to superchats is easy because they stand out compared to staring at the matrix that is normal chat lol

Brian, don't forget that you have an antenna and another ruck in the big building near where you got the truck. SoD2 streams are always a hit with me. Also my live name is Oldfart1958, not sure why it changes on these comments.
The ultimate challenge I've been working up to with my brother is a "no dodge" challenge where we basically unbind the dodge key.
The difference it makes on the importance of positioning is mindblowing as being surrounded by zombies is basically a death sentence. We dropped the "action difficulty" back to nightmare to compensate
All them zombies had my game lagging HARD 😅

I can bet a lot of money that Brian is not going to have any trouble beating this map even if there is only negative curveballs. Just the amount of loot you get from plague hearts is insane. You get so many guns with ammo, med items, stamina items, rucksacks of resources and more. On top of that you can go up and clear the landmark building and start producing scentblock and then it's game over for the plague hearts.
In my opinion you have done way harder challenges then this. I'm guessing you are not even going to lose a survivor in this playthrough since you are just to good at this game.
I'm hoping there is going to be a black plague heart. This might be Brians last chance to face the the original black plague heart since they nerfed it in update 36.
Anyway it was a good episode that I enjoyed a lot!

i had to literally turn off curveballs because i was getting a black plague heart in every game i started pretty much right away even on EASY mode, with the old build.
