Also, in the Castle table, there is an additional challenge: Get Zombie Out of the Tower. It's almost like the Bully challenge in the final table. Hit all the drop targets in the left-hand table and enter the ball lock drop hole when the ball lock is inactive. You have to hit a zombie in the left-hand side of the table back into where the ball lock drop hole is and then hit the tunnel next to the Fate drop hole to score big.
I didn't grow up with this game, but my uncle did, and he introduced this to me. I'm going to make it a goal of mine to make this into a modern virtual table, all of the features, but that's a mountain climb right now so we will start small first!

Gosh those nostalgia vibes.. this was one of the first games I played going into PC gaming for the first time during the mid 1990s. The closest thing to playing this now is the Curse of the Mummy table in Pinball FX.

Yea, as a kid I didn't even know that there was a fourth table. The main problem with this is that expecially in the castle and dungeon stages, the ball goes between your paddles way too often when it comes down from somewhere. Like in the castle, the hole on the right of the castle gate. Thanks for watching!
Oh I knew there was a fourth table, there's a tutorial with a creepy lady's voice that talks about it (perhaps a future video?? :D). And I'd agree, the game has some design flaws that discourage you from playing more. But the atmosphere and art style kept bringing me back.

Not even in the sound files I ripped from the game. Although there are some unused(?) files that talk about a basement in the voice of the tower scientist. And cow sound effects! Wonder if the cow sounds are leftovers from another game, or there were going to be cows in the game :D

Also, I found a glitch in the Tower Table that keeps the Energy Gate challenge active UNTIL you start the actual challenge (again) or when you get to the Goblin Goodies again, which can really stack up to billions of points as it remains active even when you do other challenges or go for multiball.
My dad used to get to the final table. Admittedly not complete the game, but we did use save files. Also, a tip: The only challenges actually required are those of the final table. Within the other three tables, while you'd still need to start the challenges, the game's actually willing to just let you wait on the timer, letting it count down to zero. The game considers those challenges complete, regardless.

But could not conceive of a way I could now lose and just got bored so powered it down thinking I'd get back to the game some day. Decades later and I wish I could.

Gargoyles in the castle table, lasers in tower table and torches in dungeon table give 100.000 points each one, so just bonus points which are calculated after you lose a ball. "Continue" in the goblin goodies just continue the game without any of the rewards as fas as I know.

The Wraith is actually pretty easy if you know how to hit it near the bottom of the left flipper so that her magnetism causes it to "orbit" around her and hit the Castle. Of course, it takes some practice to know exactly where that sweet spot is.
"IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO GET THERE. Seriously if you manage to get to the final table with only five balls, you're amazing at this game. If you manage to defeat the goblin king with only five balls you are a GOD." Call me god.
Yes, sierra provides an installer for 64-bit systems, just google it. This and activating compatibility mode (Win XP) under Win 8.1 worked out for me. Just some issues with music (not working), sound effects (vanishing for a few seconds from time to time) and a little lag (still playable though) at the beginning of in-game challenges.
Fun game, just don't try to clear on Hard. Gobbler challenge on Hard difficulty in Dungeon is the absolute worst designed garbage. You have to make at least 4 of the loop shots in 20 seconds. Letting the ghost eat the ball doesn't count. Absolute worst thing in this game or maybe any. LJN couldn't make something this bad.

I always liked getting the wraith destiny just to listen to her sing. Even then my game didnt have her sing like this, i was missing out!

I had to spend hours farming extra lives and continues in the Tower before doing it, but I did it!
