Interesting fact- since they changed jury size to 9 in Big Brother 15, every single first juror has voted for the winner with the exception of Jocasta in BB16
Pretty similar to a lot of first jurors in longer survivor juries and I have the same theory behind both: the mayor of the jury had been there the longest and simply didn’t have the time or energy to be too personal with their voting and they’re pretty objective and just vote with house the jury is swaying
This is late but it’s really awesome you refer to Paul as they in all your videos. It shows you keep up with these people beyond just the game, and while it seems like a given, respecting pronouns is extremely respectful. Idk, means a lot.
There’s a couple of patterns in BB23 regarding the HoH. 1) 4 players were HoH then were immediately evicted the next week (Frenchie, Christian, Sarah Beth and Claire) 2) From F7 to F3, if you won HoH, you’d be evicted exactly 2 rounds later. Tiffany F8 HoH (finished 6th) Hannah F7 HoH (Finished 5th) Kyland F6 HoH (Finished 4th) Azah F5 HoH (Finished 3rd) Xavier was the only one to break this curse but you could make a point that him winning the F3 HoH and placing 1st also counts
Oh those are really cool ones, especially the 2 rounds later HOH thing. Overall that means that 8/16 players from BB23 were evicted within two rounds after their HOH reign. Thank you!
10:05 as much as I would never ever EVER want to correct you on one of your wonderful videos, I did some sleuthing recently and thus have reasonable suspicion that Nicole Franzel WAS NOT the youngest nor the second youngest of BB18. Let me explain: usually cast bios will share the ages of contestants at the start of the game, which give fans a good idea who the youngest/oldest houseguest is. However, sometimes they cast people who are the same age, which means fans have to do a little digging. In BB18's case, the youngest age listed in that seasons bios was 23. However, it was listed for three separate contestants: Nicole, Big Meech, and one other contestant whose identity I'll share later. In this case, the fandom has to figure out who turned 23 last and thus is the youngest contestant. Big Meech's birthday is in December, and since Big Brother US is usually held in July, we can already probably count her out of the running. The other two both have birthdays in June: Nicole's on June 30 and the other person's on June 13. Since Nicole's birthday was just a little bit later, we can infer that she is the younger of the two and thus the youngest houseguest. Easy peasy, right? Right? RIGHT?!?! Wrong. It's true that Big Brother USUALLY starts in July, which would make Nicole's June 30th birthday a good marker for having an accurate sense of her age in the bios. HOWEVER, BB18 actually premiered on June 22, over a week before Nicole's birthday, meaning that while she STARTED the game at 23, she would TURN 24 almost immediately after going into the house. I know you might be thinking: well, wouldn't the bios mention her age as 24, considering she will be spending most of her time in the house at the age? If so, could it be possible that she turned 23 in the house and her bio reflects that? Sure, this is a possibility, but it almost never occurs. Usually, the contestant is listed at the age they entered the house, regardless if they spend much time at that age. Furthermore, since Nicole's last birthday post on her Instagram mentioned her being 30, we can infer her birth year is 1992, meaning she turned 24 in 2016 during her time in the BB18 house. Thus, she is almost six months older than Big Meech, and nearly a YEAR older than the other potential youngest houseguest. That means she is not the youngest, nor the second youngest of that season; she is the third youngest, which is still pretty impressive, but not necessarily part of that larger pattern of winners. So, if Nicole nor Big Meech is the youngest, who was the other eligible youngest contestant? The one with the June 13th birthday? The person who is the actual youngest houseguest of BB18? Why, it's her runner-up, Paul Abrahamian. *dunh Dunh DUNH* Arguably, they do fall into the "immaturity" reputation of the youngest HG, particularly when it came to some of their demeaning comments and propensity for arguments with their other HGs. It still is interesting how successful the youngest (or even just young) HGs always are in the long run. Anyway, sorry for the long explanation, but if I had to go through this needless rabbit hole of information and birthdays to get to the end of this theory, I am going to make you all go through it as well. Great, great video as always.
That was certainly a rabbit hole of a read. Thank you for the correction I really thought I had the birthdays correct but alas I was wrong! I'll update the pinned comment, thank you for doing all of this research just to prove me wrong 😉
I’m honestly shocked that Paul was that youngest. Maybe it is because of they have a lot of tattoos and a grown out beard that I would have suspected they be much older like 27-29.
Since BB17 every single winner has had some sort of safety week one Steve - Veto Nicole - HOH Josh - Safety Apple Kaycee- Team Safety Jackson - Camp Counselor Cody- HOH Xavier - WIldcard Safety So it looks like either Daniel or Michael have a chance for the win this season and by the looks of it, more likely Michael
Nice observation but technically (emphasis on technically) Brittany and Alyssa could not touch the block the first week either. Brittany for sure would fit under your criteria if we don't consider being a backstage hg as being officially up for eviction since she later received America's safety (though I don't have high hopes on her winning). Based on how the Backstage Pass would have come to be (one of the two remaining backstage hgs vs the normally "evicted" hg would compete in a comp to be the first officially evicted). I would imagine that Alyssa would have been voted into the comp even though both her and Paloma played great social games week 1, Paloma was higher in the power structure and therefore had more leeway with votes. So I don't think Alyssa would fit in your criteria based on this hypothesis (even then I also don't have high hopes for her winning the show either based on her current trajectory).
@@khntou4178 That's a fair point. I think with how the Backstage Pass stuff was *supposed* to work, I would add Brittany to the list of potentials, as she had a form of safety, while Alyssa and Paloma would be considered "at-risk" of leaving.

Something I find interesting is that in each set of the 4 guy winners in a row, they all fit similar archetypes or roles in the cast. Starting with the first 4, you have Boogie, Dick, Adam, and Dan. All very snake-y players. With the exception of Dan, none were well-liked. With the exception of Adam, all we very dishonest, backstabbing players. Then the next 4. Ian, Andy, Derrick, Steve. All very under the radar. All superfans with the exception of Derrick. Now we have Jackson, Cody, Xavier. All jocks. If patterns continue to repeat, given all the other patterns, Joseph should have the best shot of winning BB24.
I keep a running list of BB curses and I didn't know have using the veto as HOH so that was a great help. Thanks for pointing that out! The winner has never been last in the intro (still waiting for an intro in 24) or was on the block on the first regular eviction night. In addition, there are few curses that have been broken but not individually. For instance, the first replacement nominee has never won the game except for Adam but he was nominated with Sheila.
Another interesting one, from BB10 -> BB23, the player who isn't picked for the final 7 veto hasn't won. Since player picking started in BB5, the only times people were not picked in the final 7 veto but went on to win the game were Dick in BB8 and Adam in BB9.
Hey Ethanimale, I love your videos. Have you ever thought about doing a ranking of the houses themselves. I know it would take a lot of work but I think it would be super cool just like your ranking of the diary rooms.
There’s a short stretch in BB18 where HOHs got evicted the following week (kind of): Michelle was Co-HOH week 9 then was evicted week 10. Natalie was Co-HOH week 9 then was evicted week 11. Victor was HOH week 11 then was evicted week 12. Corey won HOH on Day 86 and was evicted on Day 92.
I wish you had included the 2nd place in the HOH comp being the eventual evictee of the week. It's happened so many times it's unreal! It just happened with Ameerah even
omg that winner gender pattern is insane! As much as I would like a female winner, none of the women in BB24 are playing the best. The only woman I like is Taylor
I just thought of another pattern. From the Final 14 of BB19 to the Final 13 of BB23, not one single woman who was nominated for eviction won the POV while they were nominated. Alex won the POV while nominated in Week 1 of BB19. This didn’t happen again until Britini won the POV while nominated in Week 5 of BB23. Of course Kaycee in BB20 won 5 POVs, but she wasn’t nominated each time. That’s why she didn’t use a single one.
But... my Top 3 winner picks are all cursed in some way.. Kyle walked in first. Monte walked in 4th or 7th. Michael won the Week 2 Veto. And if the 1-1-1-4 sequence is to be upheld, a male should win BB24... Hmm.
If you take every BB curse into into account that doesn't leave that many people could possibly win this current season without a curse being broken or the current trajectory of the game rapidly changing
One thing, for the stat at 9:30, you have to compare that number to the voting record of the average jury member. For instance, if the average jury member only votes for the winner 55-60% of the time, then the final juror voting for the winner 50% of the time isn't impressive. However if the average juror votes for the winner 75% of the time, then that stat is more significant.
Hey I’m am a big fan of you but just to let you know when you said that nobody never won Otev and Zingbot comp in one season, just to clarify last season Alyssa actually won both OTEV and the Zingbot Comp last season.
I feel like while some of these patterns bear investigation, most patterns that say “doing x has always lost” is just pointing out that only one person can win, therefore losing is always more likely, especially when looking at any early game trends.
As soon as the bb24 winner was announced I had to came back to this video now that the pattern based off winner's genders has been broken. Would've been cool to complete 3 cycles but also so happy for Taylor!
I also noticed the other day that there is a rough trend between the gender of the person winning the 1st HOH and the winner of the season. There are exceptions, but it seems that seasons that have a male winner also often have a male week 1 HOH. As for female winners, well..., I've noticed that Lisa, Rachel, and Nicole were all week 1 HOHs when they won their season, and they consist of 3/7 female winners to date. My guess is that this trend may be a result of the power structure the week 1 HOH makes in the house?
Based off the patterns, the winner of Bb24 would be Joseph or Turner. We’ll see! Definitely seems possible if leftovers got to 7 (or even if they don’t)
ok, so as of the near-ending of week 3, if we assume all the patterns stay the same, these would be the current contenders for the bb24 win: Daniel Joseph Terrance Turner (pls tell me if i got anyone wrong)
Have you done a “what if” video of the Final HOH takes the final juror in US and Canada. While some situation would be repeating yourself in prior videos, but I think some situations would interesting.
I wonder if there is any correlation to the bed the houseguest choses when they first enter the house to any other event? Like winning the game or becoming first HoH or first group of Have-nots
Another Bizarre pattern I found was whether the final hoh picked the right or wrong person to take to the final 2. When I say right or wrong, I mean the eventual runner-up or winner of that season. Starting from the second set of 10 seasons (11-20). BB11 Jordan picked RIGHT BB12 Hayden picked RIGHT BB13 Rachel picked RIGHT BB14 Ian picked RIGHT BB15 Andy picked RIGHT BB16 Cody picked WRONG BB17 Steve picked RIGHT BB18 Paul picked WRONG The 5-1-1-1 pattern finishes its 2nd cycle with the following BB19 Josh picked RIGHT BB20 Kaycee picked RIGHT BB21 Jackson picked RIGHT BB22 Cody picked RIGHT (this time) BB23 Xavier picked RIGHT BB24 Monte picked WRONG BB25 Jag picked RIGHT (ultimately) BB26 Makensy picked WRONG
Another crazy pattern is most big brother winners (male) have won either 3 or 4 hoh and 3 or 4 vetos. (Will obviously being one that not having either).
ATM, Joseph, Terrence, Turner, Daniel are currently the only BB24 males on the run not affected by the first-fourth-seventh to enter curse (Kyle/Monte), and week 2 veto win (Michael), to win and not break the 1F-1M-1F-4M winning pattern...
Josh Martinez was not the second youngest houseguest in BB19. Raven and Ramses were younger than him. Josh's birthday is 1/4/94. Raven's birthday is 6/10/94. And Ramses' birthday is 12/18/95.

You are far too kind. But to answer your question, two cups of coffee per day and an inconceivable amount of hours watching Big Brother as a child finally coming in to be of use
Late here but here's a pattern I found regarding the gender imbalance of winners. Up until Nicole F won against Paul at the final 2 on bb18, no single female player has stood up against a male player at the final 2 and won the season. Nicole lost to Dr Will on bb2, Erika lost to Mike Boogie on bb7, Daniele lost to Evel Dick on bb8, GinaMarie lost to Andy on bb15, and Liz lost to Steve on bb17. If a woman woj a season of big brother, it was because they were standing up against another woman: Lisa on bb3, Jun on bb4, Maggie on bb6, Jordan on bb11, and Rachel on bb13. In contrast, after Nicole F defeated Paul on bb18, every single female winner was standing up against a man and won, the aforementioned Nicole F. on bb18, Kayce on bb20, and Taylor on bb24, with Holly being the one following that pattern, as she lost to Michie on bb21.

Can you rank the house designs from worst to first?
Someday I'm sure of it
the way that chelsie broke several of these is insaaaane
I noticed a pattern of you uploading amazing content
Hmm.
just here to say the winner cicle has finally been broken by TAYLOR !!!!
If you take every BB curse into into account that doesn't leave that many people could possibly win this current season without a curse being broken or the current trajectory of the game rapidly changing
Only ones left without a curse are Brittany Taylor and turner .
Coming back now and seeing Taylor broke the winner gender pattern makes me happy
Let’s go, best thing next I’d ranking every BB comic
Fun Fact, if you ever get evicted in week 2 you've never won the season
@Kob3 r/woosh
Wow I never noticed that. You know what else is weird. When someone goes to jury they also end up voting for one of the top 2 placers in the season
@@gusvloggers i know and have never noticed that the final hoh will evict one of the top 3 players that season as well
@Kob3
The joke ---------------->
You
@@creativename7230 that was I knew but I was as shocked as ever when I found out
Thanks for including the curse that I let you know about! (I'm not gonna take credit though, you didn't have to include it.)
😂😂😂JCs nomination speech
One thing, for the stat at 9:30, you have to compare that number to the voting record of the average jury member.
For instance, if the average jury member only votes for the winner 55-60% of the time, then the final juror voting for the winner 50% of the time isn't impressive. However if the average juror votes for the winner 75% of the time, then that stat is more significant.
Hey I’m am a big fan of you but just to let you know when you said that nobody never won Otev and Zingbot comp in one season, just to clarify last season Alyssa actually won both OTEV and the Zingbot Comp last season.
dont mind me coming back to this video to try and predict the winner for this season 😂
I love your channel so much. I love all of these types of patterns
I feel like while some of these patterns bear investigation, most patterns that say “doing x has always lost” is just pointing out that only one person can win, therefore losing is always more likely, especially when looking at any early game trends.
So Jag just broke the win hoh -> use veto -> lose the game pattern?
Yep
Great video ethan. 👍
Bro u gotta try and get on bb man you would be insane
That makes Michael the first Houseguest to win OTEV and Zingbot
He is second. Alyssa from last season won both OTEV and Zingbot, but they both lost the season.
Taylor roadblocking the pattern. What does she not do? And with that, chances are high that a woman is most likely going to win BB26
the first in curse is just probability
Based off the patterns, the winner of Bb24 would be Joseph or Turner. We’ll see! Definitely seems possible if leftovers got to 7 (or even if they don’t)
Taylor has broken so many of these the first person in the house, the F,M,F,M,M,M,M streak and the women won final 4 hoh and the season!!!!
THE WINNER CYCLE IS BROKEN!!!!!!!1
Paul winning the three cursed comps may explain them losing by one vote in two separate seasons. They just got with the full brunt of the curse lmao
3:26 gotta cut this whole section of the video now lol
No one talks about Tamar. She won and was first in.
Yeahhhhh but I typically just include the mainline series and not spinoffs
ok, so as of the near-ending of week 3, if we assume all the patterns stay the same, these would be the current contenders for the bb24 win:
Daniel
Joseph
Terrance
Turner
(pls tell me if i got anyone wrong)
After today, we need a video about people getting their own ally evicted.
Well the pattern is broken Taylor one bb24
You should do BBCAN Patterns, you be surprised on some
camera clarity has gone up so much over the years
YALL for bb24, Nicole got 2nd in the Week 4 HOH comp (lost to Monte) and it is likely she is going home this week!!!!!
YAY
Paul not winning BB19 only solidifies the week 2 HOH, week 2 VETO, week 5 HOH unwinnable curse
These are some really interesting patterns!
Maybe in either this season or a future season, the Zingbot competition will conincide with OTEV.
Same video but for big brother canada would be great
In season 14, the final juror (Danielle) was the only juror to vote for the loosing finalist.
BB11 Jordan picked RIGHT
BB12 Hayden picked RIGHT
BB13 Rachel picked RIGHT
BB14 Ian picked RIGHT
BB15 Andy picked RIGHT
BB16 Cody picked WRONG
BB17 Steve picked RIGHT
BB18 Paul picked WRONG
The 5-1-1-1 pattern finishes its 2nd cycle with the following
BB19 Josh picked RIGHT
BB20 Kaycee picked RIGHT
BB21 Jackson picked RIGHT
BB22 Cody picked RIGHT (this time)
BB23 Xavier picked RIGHT
BB24 Monte picked WRONG
BB25 Jag picked RIGHT (ultimately)
BB26 Makensy picked WRONG
Another crazy pattern is most big brother winners (male) have won either 3 or 4 hoh and 3 or 4 vetos. (Will obviously being one that not having either).
Can’t forget ED winning part 2 after that epic part 1, & he went on to win
ATM, Joseph, Terrence, Turner, Daniel are currently the only BB24 males on the run not affected by the first-fourth-seventh to enter curse (Kyle/Monte), and week 2 veto win (Michael), to win and not break the 1F-1M-1F-4M winning pattern...
Josh Martinez was not the second youngest houseguest in BB19. Raven and Ramses were younger than him. Josh's birthday is 1/4/94. Raven's birthday is 6/10/94. And Ramses' birthday is 12/18/95.

Michael and jasmine damn
We need a top 10 bb players
Closing out the BB season with that one
Nah the ending was the best part 🤣😂
Making multiple stellar Big Brother videos every week in a summer with...let's be real, 1 of the most despised season of Big Brother ever, just so we have a ray of sunshine to look forward to? How do you do it?
You are far too kind. But to answer your question, two cups of coffee per day and an inconceivable amount of hours watching Big Brother as a child finally coming in to be of use
Question: are you going to be making videos about the current season at all? Would love to hear your opinions on it and the cast
have u ever made a video about Least dangerous and most dangerous competitions? even tho competitions are not pose to make u die
Same with 11th placement not able too
Another one since BB20 if you win the final four Veto you go on to win both the final HOH and the season.
There are no coincidences in life.
3:49
it might be happening again
24 winner is taylor
25 winner is jag
26 winner is chelsie
season 27 might have a male winner
Michael in the current BB24 won the week 2 veto and week 5 HOH 😬 hoping he breaks the trend
Never even considered there was more than just the first in curse, fourth and seventh in curse don't have the same ring to it though so I get it
i am not surprise kyle threw his game away for a girl, he had to fulfil the first-in curse
If Michael wins this season he can break a few of these.
THE WINNER THING IS OVER
So who would the most likely winner be for this season? Joseph?
