I spoke with 2 Craftsman corporate representatives and 1 Craftsman customer service representative since Friday. They aren't going to discontinue the V-Series. They are coming out with new versions of the ratchets that has better grips and can be serviceable. They are addressing the skipped sizing within their wrench sets and releasing newer hand tools in early 2025. So is icon with their G2 professional ratchets coming early next year aswell.
@@andrestnt harbor freights showcase for sema 2024 got leaked like 2-3 weeks ago and they’ll have a brand new line up of icon ratchets to show, dont know about craftsman v series tho, seems likely
You can't beat Craftsman warranty online. I will always use their chat online. They are always very helpful and will never hassle you about the warranty. Plus it shows up in a matter of days. Even if you have an old broken V-series they will send you the new V-series they won't cheap out and send you a cheaper tool.
I use a lot of Proto and Craftsman stuff in a professional setting since I don't have truck swinging by the lab, SBD's phone and online customer service is pretty good.
I really didn’t need any of this. But in the last 2 weeks I’ve got the 3 piece grip ratchet set the long flex head wrenches the ratchet wrench set and 2 screwdriver sets.. for about $180. The regular price on the long flex wrenches alone is $180. Hard to pass up on a deal that good.
Even if the website say none is available in store might have them. Went in today and they were there, but I didn't see the set of 3 long reach ratchets though.
Yea I checked online for store availability definitely would have to make some trips to get them, not sure if its worth the extra driving all across the metroplex
I got the metric 7pc XXL double box end ratcheting flex head set for 50 bucks and the 8pc reversible ratcheting set for $30. They are excellent. They appear to come dry so I sprayed some WD-40 Specialist Silicone Lubricant on the ratcheting mechanism, worked it in, let it sit for an hour, then wipe em down. Buttery smooth. Next up, the made in France screwdrivers for 20.
I was hoping they'd put the sae regular combination wrenches on sale, like they did with the mm for $40. It doesn't look like it's going to happen, so I guess I'll be paying full price, even though that hurts my wallet and soul. I've got plenty of wrenches, just no standard length, shorter sae. I have mostly long patterns and a couple sets of stubbies. I wanted the screwdriver set, but my Lowes stays out of stock, and they're not shipping the v-series in my area anyway.

@@brianrosales3210 that's HF, we talking craftsman. Lots of speculation but no proof. Hf always leaks their new tools via their paid shills.

They had regular screwdrivers on sale as well when I went earlier this week. I think they were $20 and seemed like a good deal.
Nive!
Those some great deals man!
💯💯💯 definitely bro!

Yea definitely 💯 glad you picked them up for these prices

I ordered 2 sets and one said they were out of stock. So, we walked down to the tool section and the had 5 of them.
Not surprised.

Sweet! The screwdrivers are definitely on my list to add as well
That's 100 dollar that could be going to that nice m12 stubby that can rip apart 550 ft/lb.
I went last weekend & everything in store was still regular priced
12-24mm shallow 6 point chrome 1/2” sockets for 20$ with the magnetic rail
Don't know about the sockets, but those are the nicest looking rail I've seen.
Definitely good deal for $20

They both were on sale in indiana.
Check ebay, might be some deals there of someone getting rid of their stock
Hopefully the new ones have 15mm lol
I know right! Missed size gaps are the worst!
Craftsman isn't what it used to be. Nobody wants newer Craftsman tools
Market is flooded with tool brands.
The V-Series tools are way nicer than their standard made in China stuff.
@@blackbird_actual yeah but they went stupid with the price: so much so that they priced themselves literally out of the market.
@@MacAutoDiag No, I definitely agree with you on that. This Lowe's sale is probably the most they've ever sold of it.
