This was so incredibly helpful! I have been wanting to add color to our home for Halloween and didn't know where to start! Thank you for explaining and linking everything!
Great video, so creative. I really appreciate your showing the power cords, adapters, and timers - and how/where you placed each of them. That really helped me figure the layout without getting a tangled mess.
Uplighting the trees in the backyard looks so good. Doing this in white would look great during Christmas. If you ever watched the NBC show “Grimm”, their night time exterior shots were incredible with layered lighting.
I've always loved uplifting trees. As you said, it creates a nice backdrop. It also adds heught, drama and scale depending on the project. For my haunts, the treeline to the left of my haunts will be uplit. This won't add height or scale to my haunts but it will add drama and 'widen' the area which enhances perceived value to my customers.
This is great! Very specific, clear and helpful. Thank you so so much for even including links, descriptions, photos of components. It also helps to know why you chose each light. I really appreciate your sharing. ❤️😊
Thank you so much for your comment. I try to make it as easy for everyone as i possibly can. I don’t really do well with complicated or difficult things so I try to break it down into easy segments lol
Thank you so much. Lighting is critical for making a good display a great one. I appreciate you taking the time to detail the products you used, and your reasoning behind your plan, that's a huge help. A few thoughts-I have that exact timer and I love it. I've used it for Halloween and Christmas for going on 10 years and no trouble. The covers for the outlets make it safer. I'm going to buy your 4 outlet extender for sure. We have a lot of 25' cords with three outlets in a wedge (we call them 3fers) but yours are better so things aren't as crowded. I'll suggest two other options. One is like your extender. It only has three outlets but the cords are 6+' long. They're useful when the lighting is too far apart for the regular splitter. WalMart has them and so does Amazon. Lastly, there's an extension cord that has outlets spaced apart along its length about 8' apart. I find it greatly simplifies the number of cords, especially with lights/airblowns in a line. That may work on your roof next year. The Amazon links were insanely long so here's a link to a storefront just so you can see what I'm talking about if you're interested. They have both. www.amazon.com/stores/EversimpleInc/page/7D2E46B8-A9A0-4DB9-8E44-A3B48867A3DB?ref_=ast_bln You've given me so much help and good ideas I thought I'd give a little back to you if I can.
I don’t usually comment but I have to give you the respect, I bought most of the lights and sockets from your video, and they did not disappoint. Incredible quality and ease. Just want to say thanks for the video and suggestions!

This is amazing! What a great job! Where you live? Do you ever worry about rain? That’s the issue I have with my props and Halloween decorations 😢
It rains often here in North Carolina, things get wet but they don’t get ruined so I never worry about the rain
Amazing
😃
Can you do a projector animation for Halloween tutorial
Wow 😎
Thanks Eric :)
Blessings in an abundance of the faith. I salute you. 😘✝️💌👣🙏💯🗞️ Grace and peace be unto you and to this place. Thank you Father for answered prayers. Thank you for deliverance from the double minded. Amen all over the earth and the heavens. In Jesus name amen 🙏 Will you believe and receive Jesus Christ as your lord and personal saviour??? I do. 😊
We're here for Spooky so zip it.
Beautiful job with the lights! Wish I could afford them (Amazon sellers upped the prices on all of these this month). Looking for something to light up my graveyard. 🪦
