It’s actually still playable to this day 😂 I have PlayStation plus and played it through my PC with the app. Got into a match with 2 other people. I got smacked, but it was pretty funny.

The multiplayer was definitely great. I never played an online multiplayer game until I played Ascensions and it was all due to that Amazing God of War Multiplayer trailer plus the Gauntlets trailer. God of War gauntlets are some of the most satisfying gauntlets in any game.
Worst? there's no worst when it comes to god of war games. That's why I keep getting bummed out whenever they try to pretend the old games don't exist.

I’m missing II, CoO, GoS & Ragnarök. I own II, however I played Ascension not too long ago and that left a bad taste in my mouth. I’ll pickup CoO & GoS eventually, albeit I don’t wanna bulldoze through an entire franchise too quickly so I’ll do one game every year or two. And then I’ll play Ragnarök if I ever get a PS5.

As a newer fan of the series (love the new AND old games tho) I've always felt that Ascension was underrated. Good graphics, much improved gameplay, a pretty cool (yet convoluted) story & Kratos being humanized once again.

Yes I played the Ascension multiplayer since I preordered GoW: Ascension. No I didn't enjoy it people were simply too good and it was reaaaallly frustrating to play. And it did not have decent enough servers.
I've played the original 3 God of war. I haven't played chains of olympus ghosts of Sparta or ascension but I don't know if they would be called the worst games. Period I also played god of war twenty eighteen and ragnarok

During the fight with persephone, you only need to watch the cutscene once. Once it plays again, just press X and it'll skip to the fight.
