Hey Kim! Have you ever considered getting a rolling cart for your pantry so that when you are making a recipe and bringing all those jars out you don’t have to fear breaking one. Also, just convenience of getting all the pantry stuff out for a recipe at once. Just an idea and you can keep it in the pantry for extra storage and even bring it out for party’s for holding dishes & cutlery. 🤔

9:30 I can relate on the lunch front (minus the packing them for school, as my kids aren't that age yet). What I've found that helps is to have a list of things we frequently make. I have each item on a magnet, and I have the days of the week on our fridge whiteboard. I stick the meal magnets on the day we ate that food, which helps me know what's left and what's been eaten too recently to have again. So helpful.

They have been making laugh soo much, which I appreciate specially right now going through chemo, they keep my spirits up! (your whole family does, but those 2 are hilarious). I'm still 3 years behind and trying to catch up.
Ok here’s a dinner suggestion. If you enjoy things with some spice you will love this! The key ingredient that you need is Gochujang/Korean red pepper paste. This will make an AMAZING sauce for Bibimbap/Korean rice bowl. The concept is so perfect for a quick dinner! Simply make rice, chop what ever fresh veggies you like, and have some type of protein(salmon, chicken, tuna, beef, etc). Each persons bowl gets rice and gets topped with the veggies and protein. Then you add however much sauce you want. Usually a tbsp. Drizzle sesame oil, sprinkle green onions if you’re feeling it. Then mix and eat! I keep the sauce made up in the fridge so it makes dinner even easier. Anyway, the sauce is as follows Gochujang 2 parts Worcestershire sauce/fish sauce .5 parts Coco aminos 1 part (To increase spice) Korean red pepper flakes .5 parts Then mix well. Keep in the fridge and have awesome Korean food any time you want.

Great fun! I would keep those lovely baskets.. There is always a use.. Kids bedrooms, bathrooms, playroom, kitchen or livingroom cupboards etc. I hard boil eggs in water on stove.. Takes 5mins. Then tip out hot water, put cold water over.. Then peel if you want to use straight away or leave them in their shells in the fridge.. They are good for 2 weeks.

I’ve used one (before Dash - I’m on my 2nd Hamilton Beach and it’s at least 10+ yrs old! My eggs always peel quickly and they’re perfectly cooked. And it doesn’t get any easier than pouring some water in, tossing the eggs in, slapping the cover on and going about your life till you hear the “alarm”! Tip to keep from burning your fingers - don’t touch the eggs. Have your water fairly close (as you did) then just lift the whole tray of eggs off by the two little handles, one on each side. Swing it out and over the bowl and just tip it so the eggs dive into the pool! Repeat for the bottom layer. No burnt fingers!

A suggestion on storing wreaths is that I put them on a clothing hanger and use a kitchen sized garbage bag and cover it and then pull the ties together and then mark on the bag what wreath it is and BAM ! Yes! I used to do this with off season wreaths and had a space with a rod where I hung them in the basement next to my storage totes. In the next house, I did the same but no basement, so in the garage.

Hey Kim! When using your dash egg cooker. At the bottom of the little measuring cup if you pull off the cap there is a pen and you’re supposed to poke a hole in the larger side of the egg. Put it whole side up and it’ll make it even easier to peel eggs. I have had my egg cooker for years now. And you don’t even need to use the ice bath
Kim, have every one in your family list 5 dishes they love the most, or more, it is whatever you want, then put them in a monthly meal plan if you have enough, and rotate that out monthly, or maybe at least 4 days out of 7 and 3 "new" things added in, so it's not that... challenging on their palate. Maybe it's a great idea? Just thought I'd throw it out there as a suggestion, because it is how we did ours as well, except for we got 7 things we like out of 7 and went with that. If another family member doesn't have that as their favorite? Well, it's also compromise and learning that. Our plan works, knowing there is something in it for every one of us and yes there are days were one member might not like the dish that much, but they will eat it because they know next dish might be something they like (and someone else makes that sacrifice). It's learning about give and take as much as anything!

Haven’t seen you make Energy Balls since the old house. They sound GREAT! The eggs look great….three batches of those for deviled eggs for Easter…you amaze me!
One great tip I have for you is to put paper towels laid out on the fridge shelves before you put the things back in the fridge. This is a great buffer until you get to do a deep scrub of the fridge. The paper towels catch the little spills and crumbs.
I found out about the Bissell Crosswave from you. My husband absolutely loves to have his carpet cleaned with our carpet cleaner, and wants to do it himself, but he has MS so it’s really unsafe for him to use. The Crosswave seems to be the perfect answer for someone with a movement disorder.

If you add a little water in a glass jar with a lid put your hard boiled egg in replace lid and shake, shell will come right off. works even better with two eggs in jar. Shells fall right off! Try it you'll love it.

Hey Kim! When using your dash egg cooker. At the bottom of the little measuring cup if you pull off the cap there is a pen and you’re supposed to poke a hole in the larger side of the egg. Put it whole side up and it’ll make it even easier to peel eggs. I have had my egg cooker for years now. And you don’t even need to use the ice bath
Kim, have every one in your family list 5 dishes they love the most, or more, it is whatever you want, then put them in a monthly meal plan if you have enough, and rotate that out monthly, or maybe at least 4 days out of 7 and 3 "new" things added in, so it's not that... challenging on their palate. Maybe it's a great idea? Just thought I'd throw it out there as a suggestion, because it is how we did ours as well, except for we got 7 things we like out of 7 and went with that. If another family member doesn't have that as their favorite? Well, it's also compromise and learning that. Our plan works, knowing there is something in it for every one of us and yes there are days were one member might not like the dish that much, but they will eat it because they know next dish might be something they like (and someone else makes that sacrifice). It's learning about give and take as much as anything!

One great tip I have for you is to put paper towels laid out on the fridge shelves before you put the things back in the fridge. This is a great buffer until you get to do a deep scrub of the fridge. The paper towels catch the little spills and crumbs.

I found out about the Bissell Crosswave from you. My husband absolutely loves to have his carpet cleaned with our carpet cleaner, and wants to do it himself, but he has MS so it’s really unsafe for him to use. The Crosswave seems to be the perfect answer for someone with a movement disorder.
I am 81 and my big carpet cleaner is just too much anymore so got a Crosswave after you told how great it was.

The floors!!!! Yes! I swear I will feel like my house is a disaster and I’m crazy mom running around. Then I will clean the floors and the EXACT same house feels totally fine all the sudden! My kids just stare at me in confusion. 😂

If you add a little water in a glass jar with a lid put your hard boiled egg in replace lid and shake, shell will come right off. works even better with two eggs in jar. Shells fall right off! Try it you'll love it.
