Mike, great video. Thanks so much for posting this for those of us that aren’t able to make it this year. Kind of makes you feel like you’re there. Very grateful. 73.
The only Hamvention I have attended was at the Hara Arena. I forgot my HT, so bought one at the flea market area outdoors. It was so huge and so fun!! I hope you have a nice time at Hamvention.
Excellent video! Really wish I was there. So cool to have you to sort things out for us there. Is there a similar event on the west side of the country? Thanks Mike.
Thanks for posting. Hope to catch with you and Jason and the other TH-cam guys. This will be my 33rd straight year of attending Hamvention (other then Covid years). 73
I would really enjoy a thorough tour of the port a potty, but please wait till Saturday afternoon before you film it. Thanks for the video, enjoyed it!
Hey Mike, great video behind the scenes. Looking forward for other videos for the Hamvention. Also, I’m going to make sure I get on the radio and see if there’s any special events around that area and also pota. Have a great time. WD5ENH Steve

Hey Mike. Just a heads up - DARC = Deutschland Amateur Radio Club. Heads up number 2, the big antenna towards the end of the video belongs to the local 4-H club.
And,and...MIKE! You tease all us Kenwood fanz by walking AWAY from the "Special K" logo in the back...only to circle back for the big nothing! Sweating the video walks on Friday!...73 and have fun de KN4HGI

@@jeffsturman7246 I saw a rumor saying that too. Our glorious leaders at the ARRL of course, won't tell anyone if it is. Whatever, it all appears to be based on what for the late 1980's was state of the art databases and a mid 1990's web page. At least the API (batch up and downloads) works, thanks to what would appear a good old mainframe mindset. As someone who used to be a system admin at a university for a VMWare system that ran 1800 Virtual Machines on 48 physical servers until I retired a couple of years ago, I do wonder what the actual hardware, operating system, and database LoTW is.
I'm not there this year. First time not in years. So this is great to see. Looks like a scorcher of a day to be Thank you for my normal morning walk . Sii. VA3SII G7HCD
Thanks for posting this Mike. Can't justify the cost of going there from the UK so your video's and tours will be the next best thing. 73 Martin

He’s at DX Engineering.

8:37 International Relations: could be kinky, we don't know..... LOL
Because wokeness.....LOL, love it!
Is food at Dayton as expensive as Hamcation? I mean, everyone needs a $15 burger in their life.

You are BIG deal in Europe Mike... it has something to do with the metric system.
Foolish hams
"A huge ARRL presence?" Get back to work and fix LoTW.
Seen on HRCC Discord channel one of the folks there mentioned a possible ransomware attack was the reason of LoTW being down.

The "because of wokeness" comment and the eye roll when talking about the boy scouts wasn't a good idea.
Sure it was. It’s ok to be a boy. And it’s ok to be a girl.
enjoy! have fun meeting others!
