      Actually, both governments and companies benefit from the death of a human. Not too much death but just enough to profit from it. In essence, a human's existence is worth nothing when money is involved, and as a whole, they are worthless in comparison to the End. In the grand scheme of things, it was unfortunate fate to take amusement in. Well, for me that is. Then again, I don't care for humanity, but I am amused by them.

    This man is a psychopath he needs mental help and needs to be locked up for a very long time. He murdered Someone period, he may not have pulled the trigger but he murdered that person. SWAT are trained to shoot if they feel threatened sometimes sadly that fuse isn’t as long as it should be but that’s just how it is sometimes. Sending swat to someone’s house is putting people’s lives at risk and should be considered attempted murder

    Yeah from what I understand the cops really dropped the ball. First off the guy shot didn't match the description of the caller at all, aka a teenage boy who shot his father. He shouldn't of been a suspect and treated as hostile target. Second from what I heard the 911 call was still on going when the shooting happened. Because the cops couldn't update the Swat team themselves that the suspect was still on the phone they shot a guy who open his front door.

    The police released the timeline, and they shot the innocent civilian while they were still on the phone with the alleged, in fact, the phone call lasted 20 MORE MINUTES! The police had to have been updated regularly as they they were still receiving information on the suspect, but they didn't put two and two together- hes not on his phone, hes not the mentally insane person who will kill us. The house doesn't even fit the description, it being a two story opposed to a one story. ABOVE ALL the body cam footage is extremely sketchy, shooting the civilian not more than 5 seconds after he opened the door. The shooter's squad mate (the one with the footage) even mumbles to himself "sh*t", as if shooting him wasn't necessary, a tone similar to that if I were to say "there he goes again".

      logodoflogamer if thats the case the officer needs to be punished too. But still, even though they're trained for this, When you know that there is an armed person who shot his dad in the face and is going to burn the rest of his family, And the door just opens when you knock it, You would think that you're gonna get shot in the next 3 seconds too. He probably didn't even had the time to look at Andrews face. And they couldnt really trust the info about the house either they just know the address.

      @@combustiblelemons9346 If your making a call saying there are hostages and a victim all ready your trying to get someone hurt or killed and on top of that its premeditated. In that line its at least attempted man slaughter. The trigger happy police thing, I will say its really more of a case to case base than people make it seem but yeah in general cops in the US are trigger happy. What I mean is if you open a door and see a black object in someone's hand you have to decide real fast if that thing is a gun or a TV remote. Now you have to remember visual reflex response for most humans is around 0.1-0.3 seconds. in that time if some has a gun in there hand you have 0.3 to recognize that he has a weapon and respond to that threat or recognize its a TV remote and stand down. That's not long enough to think that's only long enough to see: black thing in hand pointed at me. stopping to think, "what is that really?" means it was nothing or you currently have a bullet in your head. Again yes cops in the US are wounded up way to tight and something needs to be done, but I can understand how going in hot can lead to deaths.

      The main thought of any officer in these situations is "I want to go home the same way I came in to work today". It's a really difficult situation to be in where you're life is on the line, and it can change in a moment's notice. Unless you can objectively put yourself in these situations, you can't understand the high tension, stressful situation it is, and how not reacting may cost you or your fellow officer's life.

    Rich, he's a psychopath, it's a difference. Both sociopaths and psychopaths lack proper brain connections to the part of the brain who allows us to understand how another person is feeling, and thus aren't able to take pity and empathize, this includes their future self (because our brain somehow thinks our future self is another person) and thus they don't really understand the consequences before it hits them in the face; however, where these connections are entirely disconnected for psychopaths they are only obstructed or limited for sociopaths.
    Given proper upbringing they may turn out harmless, as they learn to understand to respect rules and boundaries despite the lack of emphatic processes. But a significant amount of them should be immediately locked up into a mental hospital, quarantined from society, at the slightest sign of deviant behavior. They often cause a significant harm to society and those unfortunate to cross their paths otherwise.

      They're not an execution squad, but lately in America, that's what they have become and they're being given a badge and it's treated like a license to kill. Not even juries convict obvious murdering cops because they're afraid they'll be targeted by other cops who know the guilty one.

    I'm seeing a lot of comments here about how it's the cop's fault, and even in the video Rich blames the officer, but I'm going to try and play devils advocate here. A very close family member of mine is a police officer, as a matter of fact up until recently he served on the County Tactical Team, which is basically SWAT. From my talks with this family member of mine I've learned a lot about how police officer's think when entering a situation that isn't even overtly threatening. A traffic stop, for instance, can rapidly go from routine to lethal.
    So imagine you're the police officer in this case, you arrive and see someone come out onto the porch. He may not match the description, but hey, criminals lie. For all you know, he's the criminal. Then, you see him lower his hands to his waist, just for a second, before he starts to raise them again. He said in the call he wouldn't drop the gun, and that likely means he intends to use it. My family member said it very simply. "At the end of the day, I'm going to make sure I go home to my family alive.". And so as the suspect starts to raise his hands from his waist, you have an instant to respond. The report said he was armed and had already killed someone. He could fire at you, he could fire at another officer, lives seemingly hang in the balance and you can't hesitate, what do you do?
    It isn't easy, nor is it black and white.
    It's tragic that a man died, but condemning the officer is cruel. He already has to live with the death of someone on his conscience because some piece of human garbage turned an officer of the law into a weapon.

      That's no excuse for being so trigger-happy. Think of all the UK, German, Australian, New Zealand, French, Canadian and Japanese police in the *exact* same situation, and yet the percentage of people who are shot fatally in these countries is minimal. (The suspects are more likely to kill individuals than the police are.) What's the difference in these situations?

The “gesture” that made the cops shoot him was him putting his hands up to his eyes because they were shining a spotlight on him. You could argument that it could’ve been him pointing the gun if it weren’t for the fact that the SWAT team was about 100 yards away from Finch’s house. If he was pointing a handgun, then he wouldn’t have enough range to be accurate with it, giving the police enough time to react. The first reaction shouldn’t be to shoot anybody that does anything out of the ordinary. It should be to analyze the situation and deal with it as such.

    The interview with Keemstar is even more chilling then the 911 clip. Honestly to me it's not even about setting an example at this point, they need to lock this sociopath up for life cause it's clear to me that even if he gets 25 years, the moment he's out he'll do something like this again.
    In his mind he's done nothing wrong, and truly believes he's a victim of circumstance. In his own words, it was the guy that pulled the trigger as well as the 2 idiots who got into a pissing match over a dollar is who should be held accountable or at the very least at a much higher degree then he ever should be.
    But the sad part is, is that it's not even the worst part about this. It's the fact that he feels no emotion for what's happened. No fear for what awaits him, no remorse for the victim and the victim's family, no nothing. Not even any anger for being what he feels is being wrongly prosecuted for murder. this nut job feels nothing, and to me that's the scariest part about this.
    I am totally with Rich on they need to throw the book at him so it'll make others think twice about pulling this crap, but thank god they have him now cause he's one of the few where the strict laws wouldn't of made him think twice about swatting.

    As a veteran I get thanked for having done something most see as an extreme and unforgiving job. I will tell you that law enforcement is, in some ways, more so. Their highs and lows, in the field, are often more extreme. We trained a lot to prepare for it. It's also something that you have to continuously do that training to maintain a functioning level of ability to do. Both military and law enforcement have to do that training or the adrenaline takes over. Another fact is that many law enforcement personnel never draw their weapon. Due to the environment they have to work in and the bs perfection they are expected to maintain, this was an inevitability. A sad one, but one none the less. The more pressure our society puts on them, the more likely these stupid actions will lead to dire outcomes.

      Sorry Burg, but they don't have tanks. There is a huge different between an armored personnel carrier and a tank.
      I do agree the police need more training, but demanding every last cop be thrown in jail without fully knowing the whole situation is just adding to the problem. You show them you don't care about their well being, they pull away and it becomes more them versus us. They may do their job, but it's just a job. Yes, some definitely deserve to go to prison. Others don't.

I have a (ridiculously) tiny TH-cam channel and the chances of me being anywhere near notable enough to be swatted is miniscule, but is had a discussion about this with my fiance and the real fear that comes with it. Doing what you love for a living is a blessing and I'm a huge fan of yours for it. You're the reason I decided to make my own channel. But I digress. I think the person who shot an innocent dude should also be arrested... Haven't fully watched this video or gotten much info on it yet, but if he shot a guy who didn't seem to be a threat beyond what an anonymous guy on the phone said then he should lose his job at the very least...

      Ralphie Cifaretto Idk... I'd need to perhaps see the footage of the swatting, but after seeing this video I guess I can understand how they went into the house very tense... Still, I think when it comes to shooting people I'd like it if police made sure that those people were innocent until proven guilty before shooting. If a person answered the door they couldn't have been too far away from the officers at the door to be tackled to the ground as opposed to shot, but maybe they panicked and did something that set off alarm bells in the head of the officer or something... From the sounds of it the officer was too ready to shoot though...

    • @danr8267
      @danr8267 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      SuperKingclay dont be ignorant. These are the swat not the cops. They are called in situations where someone might day

    • @RealmRabbit
      @RealmRabbit 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      But That's None Of My Business I guess you mean "die". Anyway, it still doesn't change the fact that they get all these calls from people who want to see swat teams attack streamers and potentially kill them. Regular police are also called in situations where someone might die. Swat are just more geared towards handling situations like bomb threats or hostage situations. Police are more there for crimes like petty theft and such, but there's still times where they are sent to possible gunfights. In this case, the person calling them described it as a hostage situation where his family was captured and he was considering burning them alive supposedly. So, a swat team was sent in. Doesn't mean the swat team arrives and shoots the first person they see at the address though. When they could just easily apprehend the first person at the address who opened the door for them so really couldn't have been more than a meter away from them. They obviously didn't have the address right so really anyone could've been killed if the caller gave the swat team the address for whoever if the swat team's policy is "arrive, see a person, shoot" and I doubt this person was armed or anything. How did they determine that the person they shot was a threat to anyone and could not be apprehended upon opening the door and thus a few steps away from a swat team? Was he armed? If so, fine. Not sure why some innocent person would open the door armed though, especially if they saw that a swat team was outside...

    • @RealmRabbit
      @RealmRabbit 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rick Harris Yeah. I'm Canadian, but I've seen the American police do some really messed up things. It's sad when you compare NA police to Scandinavian police who rarely use their guns which are behind glass and they need to call it in whenever they use them for anything. They also have prisons meant to reform rather than punish, get a lot less repeat offenders on average, and let prisoners play video games and such. They've had too few prisoners whereas America has too many so they keep shutting down prisons (although idk if the whole Syrian immigrant situation has changed that at all)
      I know Sweden in particular kind of sucks with how SJW it is now, but their prison system seems really good for a country like theirs. Might not work as well in a country like America though for various reasons.

    Consequences that would GUARANTEE "people would NEVER " Swat again:
    1st Offense
    •30 years in prison (15 if you spend it in Solitary); or 20 years (10 Solitary) if you appear on National TV and BEG for taxpayer forgiveness
    •Pay funeral/medical costs of victims, Swat costs for wasted time/resources, PLUS another $5,000 per casualty as an apology to wasting tax dollars, or get another 5 years (2.5 years Solitary) for every fine not paid to the ABSOLUTE FULLEST
    •Can NEVER apply for welfare/permanent loss of welfare.
    •Added to a Public "Swatting" database PERMANENTLY (similar to Sex Offenders) for all potential neighbors/employers to see
    •Charge with a Felony, murder/attempted murder, and criminal negligence (Felony means no more voting/owning weapons)
    •Required by law to wear ankle bracelet and have monitored calls/texts, internet, bank accounts, etc. for 10 years. Can appeal AFTER MANDATORY classes and therapy
    2nd Offense
    •Death by firing squad within the hour of conviction. (An Eye For An Eye)
    Don't like these punishments? Simple. Don't Swat.

    10:55 As a member of the US Army Military Police, I can confirm that these police officers who are always like shoot first, ask questions later, are completely breaking the law and should be put in prison for things like this. There's a certain rule that officers are supposed to abide by called the 7 levels of force. (notice there's nothing saying you can kill the subject)
    #1 - *Officer presence* (Usually an officer just showing up should be enough to stop something from happening.)
    #2 - *Verbal Control* (Using clear and audible commands in attempt to maintain the subject)
    #3 - *Empty-handed Submission* (Things like attempting to cuff the subject, or just going for pressure points to subdue them)
    #4 - *Aggressive Response* (Includes un-armed physical harm like punching/kicking, as well as OC spray and/or Taser/Stungun)
    #5 - *Non-lethal Weapons* (Includes weapons that would cause injury but not fatality like a Baton, Police Dog, Beanbag Rounds)
    #6 - *Shoot to Warn* (Using a firearm to grab the attention of, but not kill the subject. Usually firing at the ground is enough)
    #7 - *Shoot to harm* (Once again, in attempt not to kill the subject, but just subdue them, you can use this only after going through all other levels of force)

    Totally agree. If you accuse someone of a felony, knowing it's false, at the very least you should get whatever punishment the person you accused would have gotten had he been wrongfully convicted. Adding on any additional harm upon the victim, is fair as well. Prison should be mandatory in such cases. Law should also require police & prosecutors pursue charges in such cases.
