Very true. Awareness is zero.TN is the least aspirational state with regards to awareness for JEE exams. It has slowly started to change especially post covid with lot of coaching institutes ads and online coaching facilities. previously,The only aim of TN students is to top state boards exams and joining Anna university and affiliated colleges was ultimate aim. It was the same even when AIEEE, AFMC and AIPMT existed before. Not just in professional exam front, our students are still not fully aware of central govt jobs calendar fully. It is through NEET, TN students and parents became aware of other national entrance exam tests.
And in recent times, such coaching were given in selected model schools across TN by government. Such initiatives must be given across govt schools, aided schools across state. Every student of TN deserves his/her best try at national entrance exams. Our students had to go beyond TN for professional courses and not circle inside TN. Awareness has to start at school level about such examinations.
