Wow the reinvention of the human cheese cutters 👎 absolutely no fun for bikers. That project was abandon years ago i Denmark, after every motorcycle accident with the "human" cheese cutter was fatal for the biker 👎👎👎😢
They still use them in the US unfortunately along huge strips of freeways and highways

on the first barrier , they save car fools but it has a extremely high kill rate for motorcyclists , very eazy to lose limbs or a head if you are a motorcyclist

Those cheese grater wire rope barriers should be banned they are lethal to motorcycles.
And yet in the US more. And more of them are going in mostly in the grassy area between different directions of traffic on the interstate
Motorcyclists should pay attention and not hit them, just a thought.

If you lived they are not lethal. Motorcycle riders are idiots in traffic. But expect the rest of us to cater to yall. Drive with common sense on a bike or don't drive it at all.
What about having to take sudden avoiding action? Like a biker following a truck and something falls off, biker reacts and goes into the lethal barrier. Or a tire bursts and they lose control. Listen, there are idiot bikers and idiot drivers. I hate em both when it comes to speeding, racing doing stunts on the road. However, remember that you hitting that barrier are safe in a metal box unlike exposed biker.

Hesco barriers saved my life in both Afghanistan and Iraq. You can actually even build structures from them!
most modern hard barriers defect the car not crash it - these self destructing barriers may work once but it could be weeks before some one comes out to rebuild them and if another crash occres during that time they'd get no real protection

@8:00 that water barrier for flooding looks like a good idea. it also looks like an accident waiting to happen.
as best i can tell it relies on the portion lying flat in the water to create a water tight seal with the ground. good luck with that. if you don't have a water tight seal between the membrane and the ground, water will seep under the membrane. liquids seeking equal levels.
seems sort of a Pascal's Principle experiment.
Seep is the key word. The water will seep under but with a "small" pump it can be controlled.
That guy at 15:06 kicke the gate open easily with one kick. After he had to act like he used force to open the gates. Worst design for security gates ever 😁

Toyota doesn't have loud engines. Its a modified Toyota Supra Mk IV. Any engine can be made to be loud. You can see there are some parts by Manley Performance in there.

If they had so-called "soft barriers" in the US, they'd destroy hundreds of miles of them every day. No. Concrete is what is called for. Massive steel reinforced barriers that even a fully loaded big rig cannot get thru at 100 mph.
Those lane changing gates would also be destroyed within minutes of deployment.

So the vehicle is capable of doing a 90 degree turn at high speed with a radius no greater that the width of the road without slowing down?
