I would say 2019 can't be worse the 2018 but I said that about 2018 last year and.... well we all saw how that turned out.
I felt that way in the 80s when we were far closer to WW III, suffered the insane Satanic panics, crack epidemic, etc. So while the present sucks in so many horrifying ways, we have made more than a few improvements. Don't give up. As long as one good person yet breathes, there is hope for tomorrow.
