This is a very interesting programme. I want to start an NGO in Nigeria on women empowerment based on the sad events I have seen in rural areas around me. We have so many numbers of young girls and women who need to be empowered. I have seen so many girls get raped, go into prostitution, get pregnant and are forced to cater for their babies while they drop out of school. These girls work so hard to survive through hawking, prostitution or by depending on their families for survival. It's so sad. We need more NGOs to come to their aid so that there will be decrease in illegal migration through Mediterranean Sea and all other illegal routes.
I really want to help by starting an NGO to this effect. I hope I get partners, advice and funding because I'm still a student.
