Someone asked about DEI but my comment gets deleted: Real answer: DEI, standing for "Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion", is a framework that does exactly what it sounds like, promoting racial, gender, religious, and ethnic diversity and inclusion in American organizations. It originated in the 60s during the Civil rights movement with affirmative action, which directs employers to hire workers and treat them equally regardless of background. It's recently become a talking point, claiming that DEI is anti-freedom and hiring unqualified candidates. The bridge event that Joey mentions is where, last May, a boat crashed into a bridge in Baltimore. The mayor, who is black, had a reasonable conversation with reporters, and he was being called a "DEI hire" (when hes in an ELECTED position 🙄)
People use that as an insult when they don’t have the brain capacity to criticize someone logically. Same with people calling anything they don’t like “woke.”
@@tls178 DEI is related to affirmative action. Since it's the take an L category, Delibird is the pokemon and iron bundle is the paradox counterpart to Delibird that Moxie said since he wasn't sure which one to say
You know the friendship is real when they can't stop busting you down. Chimp, you should have one of THEM make the questions and you play for a one-off/gag show.
DEI Bird is the best creation from this series Showing this to my teacher friends (that are involved with DEI at their schools) so they know to include the new mascot on every poster 🙌
Ayo Chimpy, I absolutely love this series. I've been binging it nonstop since I found it. Thanks so much for spending the time thinking up all these questions and bringing some of the most fun and my personal favorite poketubers together. Seriously, I couldn't ask for more. Keep it up brother!

listen most Americans don't even know, this is some fox news logic lmfao Real answer: DEI, standing for "Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion", is a framework that does exactly what it sounds like, promoting racial, gender, religious, and ethnic diversity and inclusion in American organizations. Not American, but I got this D.E.I. (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) is supposed to be a theory that encourages companies to allow more diversity in the workplace as it pertains to minority groups. However, the American right has bastardised the term, claiming that it prioritises whether or not someone is a minority over their actual skill. That's a TL;DR. Someone else can take over if they wanna give the full scoop
Diversity, equity and inclusion. It's meant to introduce underrepresented demographics into certain fields/areas and help deal with discrimination but some institutions went too far and ended up with affirmative action which gives you a major boost if you fall under one of those categories to an extreme degree. For example, the ivy league schools lost a court case last year which revealed that being black gave you a big boost to your application, more so than being from a low income background or being a legacy and being Asian would be marked against you. This led to boosted demographics getting in with worse stats on paper but more, importantly, it didn't actually fix the issue, it just made it really easy for wealthy black and Latino people to get in which defeats the whole point which was to lift up disadvantaged communities and people. Another example would be would be google doing an internal review and finding out that they ended up paying women more for the same role than men when they were trying to improve diversity and got sued and had to pay out a settlement for it.
Bruh the consistent laughing from that dude for 5 minutes was so fucking irritating 😂 but also loved the episode (as I do every video), very funny despite being a Republican lol
D.E.I. Bird goes hard
I got as far as Deibird, but did not make the final leap
5:29 might be the greatest question in jeopardy history. Chimpact really outdid himself this time
As the Xerxes Servant who helped him write it I strongly agree
Incredible final jeopardy
DW, Chimpact. D.E.I Bird was gold
the way the video just ends on awkward laughter lmao
I love that the main takeaway from this episode is that D. E. I. Bird is a fantastic question
>There's not much in Mossdeep
Brothers, they have a *space center*. Pokemon NASA is launching rockets from Mossdeep. It deserves city status.
There’s literally a white rock there
It’s insane

I still don't get affirmative action part, what's that to do with Iron Bundle? Or is it just random
