Yet again fantastic pictures of this great city & loads of memories of how the place used to be, no vandalism, graffiti and always kept clean .. Brilliant to see these pictures 👍👍👍👍 Keep these delightful photographs & the memories they bring back while watching them.. Thanks once more for supplying them Glasgowphotographs....👍👍
Apart from the historical and social interest, so many of these photos are classics in themselves. "Every picture tells a story", as they say. My favourite this week is the very last one with the "wee boy" absorbed in his comic while the rain is pouring down and his umbrella that is meant to be protecting him is in tatters! There's so much to think about in this photo. As always, much appreciation for your efforts, Colin!
Great stuff Colin. I was at that Scotland v England game in 1972. I think we lost. I was going to correct you about Morrison street because it is in Tradeston but I checked an old map which does also show a Morrison street in Govan. For some reason it was renamed to Burleigh street. The tenements and shops are still there and are still numbered the same as the old photo.

Thanks again Thomas.
Once again an amazing set of photos. I remember going to the Scout Gang shows in the '60's. Look forward to these every week, keep up the good work.
Thanks again.

Fantastic again , I remember (too young to go to a show) everyone talked about Robert halpren .
Thanks again, Robert Halpern became very popular for a time.

Thanks again...I was also at one of the Scotland v England games in the early 70s, though I can't remember the exact year.
