This might be abad idea because the pebbles dont have enough surface area ontop of no thinset motor to hold the pebbels themself.Seal the pebbles first. And when grouting pebbles turn the sponge vertically so you're wiping with the long side N&S.You'll have more controll of even grout lines/reveal and it's easier. You want to wipe out a little more grout and exspose more of the rock with pebble tile .Gj it looks great!
@@rttnmlk123 I used double sided adhesive she showed in the video, and the back splash was already sticky too. I’m not sure why it held strong in the wet conditions and not the dry
You can totally use this in a bathroom! you just have to seal it, so it’s water resistant, there are special top coats on the market that make it rather easy, we did this in our bathroom.
I assume it would if use the right board for the bathroom and seal the walls good before adding this to the walls with your tile and. You still need use a water proof sealer and reseal it.
Seal with what? I moved in to a house that has this on the shower floor. The grout is getting thinner and it needs to be sealed. Not sure what to do here.
That looked so pretty before the grouting or whatever, idk if it’s necessary or if it’ll collapse without it but I think plain pebbles really gave it a natural feel

Thank you sister for showing these designs and sharing. I recently bought my first house and its small but ur content will help me to visualize and as well do some diy in my house. Thank you 🙏🏼
@S f Thank you. That is exactly what I was wondering. I know the stick tiles that she (and other people) use as “renter friendly” completely destroy the walls, I was wondering if this one was the same. Thank you for the insight
@@Kt-cn2rq Thank you! Exactly what I was thinking/wondering, just wasn’t familiar with it so didn’t want to assume. I own and wouldn’t want to put it up then. Lol
Sorta it's more to stop to transfer of dying from the grout. People can always use a grout release product if they are worried. They work great if you read the directions
I used this material in my kids bathroom behind the vanity to attach glass tile slabs. After a year, it still looks great! The moisture from the vanity has not affected the tile.
We have a wall like this in our bathroom, it’s going on almost 15yrs, and we haven’t had a single stone let go. It’s as effective as any other tile, as long as it’s done right. ^^
@@evelinaz1548 Ohhh I just rewatched it, I didn’t realize she hadn’t grouted the wall before applying the stones. Yeah that sticky tape is definitely something iffy. I’m not so sure that would hold as well as full grout.
I love how the last short told me to never use adhesive to stick anything to the wall, this video starts off with: I used this adhesive to stick pebbels to my wall. I think the algorithm ia a bit drunk
That's actually a really awesome product and much easier to use than mastic. I used to work at Lowes and we recommended it. It is safe in any room in your house.
You can use it in a bathroom. You would want to use a waterproof substrate and use Silicon as adhesive. Just like you would put tiles or a mosaic. There are a bunch of tutorials on Utube..
Correct but It most definitely can still stain. It's the amount of time sitting on the tile/ soaking in poors that can stain. Sealers won't save your ass from staining.
It won’t collapse right away because this wasn’t installed in the bathroom or sauna. But what will happen over time is the grout will start to crack. Even a hairline crack can let moisture in and that will cause the separation of the wall substrate and the pebbles. This would normally take 5-10 years or more. If you want to redo or want to get this done at another location, use a premixed mortar. If you really want it to stick forever, install cement board over the drywall, then use thinset mortar.
If make you feel better we did just basic subway tile and grout on ours with this product in the kitchen near the stove up since september 13th. Tomorrow we grout the other side kitchen which be near sink. The tile been up with the grout for a good 3 weeks. Its hard to take off so once you press down the tile onto the adhesive it wont budge.
I'm so happy you're having a kid. Now you will be privvy to why certain design choices (like the loose rocks on floor) are a big no no for families, regardless of cuteness.

You know people always have negative stuff to say. I'm so glad it worked it's beautiful
It looke better before all the grouting was done. There was to much grouting.
It looks amazing though, I love how you styled this wall! Don't let what people have to say get in your head, eff em!😂
Com essa massa branca ficou muito feio, estragou todo serviço.

I came here to say this
I feel like if you left it without grout, that wall would quickly become the spider wall.

Yay for you! I must admit I liked it better before the grout. It's probably not a popular opinion.
You could see the mesh netting underneath, otherwise I agree from a distance the before looked better
I also liked it better before the qrout..
Yeah, probably just a thinner depth of grout.
You can just wipe away more grout so more of the stones show through
I personally really like the grout, gives it a washed out kinda vibe like it's been exposed to the elements
