- Sources close to US President Joe Biden have allegedly seen “15, 20 occasions” of the 81-year-old’s cognitive decline.
According to Fox News, these occasions echo the oldest-ever sitting president’s performance at Thursday’s presidential debate.
Journalist Carl Bernstein spoke to CNN host Anderson Cooper on Monday about Biden’s “horror show” debate performance.
“These are people, several of them who are very close to President Biden who loved him, have supported him and among them are some people who would raise a lot of money for him,” he said.
“And they are adamant that what we saw the other night, the Joe Biden we saw, is not an, a one-off, that there have been 15, 20 occasions in the last year and a half when the president has appeared somewhat as he did in that horror show that we witnessed.”
The 80-year-old spoke about President Biden’s recent address to the nation after the US Supreme Court immunity ruling.
Bernstein stated those who have seen the 46th president most often notice a “marked incidence of cognitive decline and physical infirmity”.

Frankly, what I noticed was that while President Biden was struggling to finish a sentence, Donald Trump was NOT snickering or laughing or mocking him. THAT alone showed me that Donald Trump, despite his past lies, innuendos, and authoritarian threats--showed some respect to President Biden. Seriously, he showed a LOT of personal restraint. I still don't know if I can vote for him though.
If there's been that many instances of cognitive decline that they've seen, how many cases have actually happened that they didn't see? Today, my 70 year old spouse poured lemonade on his cereal, citing he wasn't quite fully awake. Perhaps that's true and perhaps it's a sign of things to come. It's a situation where your thoughts get muddled or you don't have thoughts when doing something, so you pour lemonade on your cereal instead of milk. And it's a progression. There's a really high risk of dementia in your seventies and eighties. I thought JB was already in a major mental decline on his first day of presidency. It had nothing to do with whether I supported him or not. If a person has cancer, you don't deny they have cancer because you don't want them to have cancer. If a person has mental decline, you have to deal with it as it is. You can't brush it aside and pretend it isn't happening, because you don't want them to have a mental decline. By far, the worst offender in all of this, is Jill Biden. But then, the media played a role in this grand denial, the Party played a role, and voters played a role. I think JB deserves more from those around him than to be paraded around to do a job he's clearly not up to doing. And the American people also deserve more. A Jill Biden shouldn't even be in charge of taking care of a parakeet.
