I have kept some of the fake tan I've received in boxes before because I'm losing my hair. I fake tan my scalp so that it's darker, which gives the illusion of more hair. Otherwise I would be quite grumpy to get it - I think it's a product that's useless for probably 85 percent of people who buy beauty boxes or advent calendars.
You win the "most imaginative use of an oft-repeated item" award! That's a great way of using up all the fake tan! Maybe not for all hair colours or skin tones, but hey, kudos to you for finding another way of using it up!

It's bad enough that the products exist out there in the world. Receiving them in BEAUTY advent calendars when you pay huge sums of money expecting makeup, skincare, or pampering body lotions, is beyond reprehensible.

Thanks so much! It is Clionadh Cosmetics "Glaziers Mark". I feel the silvery/ice blue hue shift looks awful on my skin. But in person, there's a very nice purple base, so I don't want to get rid of it either!

I first had ASOS scheduled (the thumbnail of that one says everything, really). Then I thought, no, the intimate wash needs to go up first!
If there’s tampons in next years calendars we know who to come to 😂😂
I tried uk lash after some rubbish one, I actually did get results and in my brows too! I still use it, it’s worth a go on discount, took a few weeks. I think sometimes it’s a bit of pot luck and varies from person to person

This is such a disappointment after the last 2 years which were both fabulous. This is more a £100 calendar to me.

I really liked it last year i brought it on a discounted price £81.72 last year. But this year it has not impresed me at all. I will pass.
That was a great price! But it was actually good last year. Hopefully better calendars are yet to come!

I find this year there is loads of 15ml sizes and there classing these as full sizes ! I hate too many mini sizes
Not seen a decent advent calendar so far. Went from 13 calenders 5 years ago to none last year . Looks like none again this year. Would like the plouise one but it's €300 plus €25 delivery. Then I'd have to pay around €70\€90 customs thanks to brexit not worth getting 🥲
I bought 4 last year, I only purchased 2 this year and I won't get anymore.

This reminds me of an Australian beauty box that put lube in one box, and when people complained, the company were surprised because they were a “self love” box! So they were a beauty box for years until someone gave them a cheap deal on lube! Hilarious. (They have now closed down thank God).
WHAT box was that? OMG I neeeeeeed to know! I can't sleep without knowing - please, PLEASE, do tell me!
@@CosmetopiaDigest It was Bellabox, they were the cheapest box in Australia for years, all the good ones only lasted for 2 years or less. But they finally closed this year.
@@annefedoson4859 I remember an Australian blogger posting about it back in the day (I was in a blog post-like/comment swap group), but thought it had some comparatively new brands, though sizes weren't great. Didn't know about the lube. Thank you for taking the time to explain!

I feel like a lot of these products are left overs from previous boxes . A big No no this year . Loved last years there was a lot of full sizes
Last years was so good I don't like it and won't be buying unless I get it for 50 pound 😂😂

Eurgh so much fake tan, I have a box full of these products from subscription boxes and calenders. I have the skin colour of plain yoghurt, no fake tan product will change that. Not an inclusive product at all. I don't know anyone who uses fake tan when I think about it.
Same here! All the St Tropez, and James Read, and so on! Another cop-out, because they could have included some nice bath and body product instead.
