The only lag i get is when i load into a big map like boreas or south side how can i fix that

Same I’m on boreas rn but it’s also on smaller maps that don’t normally lag

This is probably due to the fact that the map is so large. There are edits for Southside that add fog if you're having issues.

GMod doesn't run very well on Linux. Generally speaking, most source engine games have a pretty tough time on Linux.
