Brad is literally the guy at the end of the urinals and Mason and I walk past all the vacant urinals and use the urinals right next to him while singing the Reading Rainbow chant.
I was following NYC FC's own derby on Saturday night (we thumped the Red Bulls 5-1 at their house and got the shiny Hudson River Derby trophy, our first win in a league game since July and the win that clinched us the postseason, New York is Blue, let's fucking go, but I digress), but I saw that this game was also happening and was rooting for St. Louis City to take it cuz I knew you'd be excited. And sure enough!
We needed SOMETHING to get excited about, especially as (as you saw) our extremely faint playoff hopes went out completely during the game lol
@@SoccerZombieSTL I'm sorry dude. We didn't make the playoffs last year for the first time since 2015, and it was my first season actively following the club. Let me tell you, it HURT. But that just makes moments of victory feel all the more worthwhile, and with the way St. Louis is developing and building up a really awesome, passionate fanbase, I have no doubts you'll be in the playoffs too sooner rather than later.
We probably make the playoffs if we had the summer transfer window we had back in January. Quality reinforcements came in too late.
@@SoccerZombieSTL We need a better attacking forward and better defensive midfielders. Our forwards can be lethal when they all link up like they did on Saturday, but too often they wind up becoming a formless blob that can't decide where to be on the field at any given time and pays the price for it (which is what happened against Philly).
It was stunning how inept NYCFC's offense looked when they visited STL earlier this year.
