I did this with a big zip tie. Worked great. I have an 84 Honda so the throttle pull back is strong. After a while it wasn't holding steady. Maybe I will try this method. The ability to tighten and loosen it is a great idea.
Riding bikes are dangerous by default. When u are riding a tank full of petrol over a engine that's heated upto 100°, at a speed of 50-80mph only if you consider that dangerous too.

Just use a medium or large width zip tie. Cleaner looking and won't rust. You can also get them in different colors.
You're a genius!
Great advice!! 👍👍 following the KISS design methodologies. ⭐⭐⭐
damn! man, that's a really nice idea. thanks
No problem!
This is how we do it🎶
Will try this and the Zip-tie method... Does this come in chrome for my Harley??
Chrome finish sure! lol
Truthfully the Harley has cruise. Putting this on my Yamaha FZ6. Good post.
Tried the zip-tie. No like. Going with the SS clamp. Stronger. Easier adjustment. Holds speed better.
Thank you Forrest Gump ....
