- Filmed at two of the oldest American Methodist chapels -- St. George's Chapel in Philadelphia and Barratt's Chapel in Dover Delaware. This short documentary was produced on the anniversary year of Francis Asbury's Death. Francis Asbury (August 20, 1745 - March 31, 1816) was one of the first two bishops of the Methodist Episcopal Church in the United States.

What an awesome story of the gospel and what true evangelism was . The Americans of today needs a good boost in our you know what. Wake up to the truth of God's word for us all.
Very nice. I like learning about he history of Methodistism. This is so well done. I wonder is Asbury was ever lonely for a close friend or relative. Was there anyone he kept a long term friendship with?
HELLO FROM WEST BROMWICH ENGLAND I LIVE A MILE FROM BISHOP ASBURY,S COTTAGE IN GREAT BARR...
Yea, but there's another spirit with the Methodist now, and it ain't the Holy Spirit!
What an absolutely fantastic video. So professionally done! I am a huge fan of Francis Asbury and visited those same places this past February (2016). I also went to all the other places not shown in this video (e.g., Lovely lane, Cemetery in Pilesgrove, Asbury's grave in Baltimore, Asbury monument in Washington, etc.). I also went to the dedication ceremony of a new monument we now have on Asbury's grave, which also includes a small monument to Dr. Thomas Coke. I know it's a long shot but please consider making a full length documentary of Francis Asbury. I can give you some ideas if you'd like.
Thank you again for taking the time to make this video. It is excellent and I am very pleased that some Methodists care about Asbury. I am a member of the Wesleyan Church and the denomination did NOTHING for the 200th anniversary of Asbury's death this past 31st of March.
Thank you. Hooray for Francis Asbury! :-)
David Martinez david i tend to the bishops cottage in great barr its situated on the newton road
Here in England
denominations are not in the bible you are either a disciple of Christ or not
As a direct descendant of his sibling and an Asbury myself, this is super cool!
Asbury, as well as Wesley, would be ashamed and angered by what the Methodist church has become.
And what West Brom has become too lol
If only Francis Asbury knows how the Methodist Church has drifted from the Bible
Good video!
Wesh revival
