It's one of the best rock voices ever. And I think he's got the very best voice for such a great longterm rock star. In fact imo no one comes closer. Michael Hutchens of INXS had just the best voice ever. Had he lived PR might have some competition. ❤
@@CharityGates111Totally agree. My favorite band back years ago. Playing my cassettes in my Mercury Cyclone with my babe going to the drive in. Best of times . No cell phones or politics.
We lived in the best years ever. Did what we wanted when we wanted. Only been in jail 5 or 6 times. How you plead ? No contest. Slap on the wrist.. Back to cleaning the bathroom. 🤣✌
@@scottsuga3362 I'd like to agree with you, I'm a Hagar fan myself. Nobody parties like Sammy when he performs. His concerts are the best. But check out a self titled album by 'The Law'. This is some of Rogers best stuff. I'd rate the album a one hit masterpiece. You might rethink that just a bit.
front row at the assembly hall in 1979 at university of Illinois. they started the concert with this song. there was a stool. he came out sat on it. then a motorized organ came out in front of him. he started playing then each member came out and and that's why they call me bad company... they started rocking through all of their hits. great concert.
Paul Rodgers...that voice is like fine wine. This song must feel like sand paper on his throat, he's sang it so many times. He sings it like it's the proudest moment of his life. Every time. The band is outstanding. LOVE Bad Co!! Always have! Burning sky stayed on my turn table for at least a year. No point taking it off!!! The sky...is 🔥...I believe my soul's on fiyah. You are...I'm learnin'...the key...to my...desiiiiiaah!! 😉❤👍
Whenever the topic of "rock royalty" comes up, Paul Rodgers is always towards the top of my list. The list is long and distinguished, but he is iconic, has made an impact over such a long period of time and across such a wide space, with so many musicians and his voice has held up reeeeeally well. RIP Dusty.
💯 agree. Best band and rock vocalist EVER! My absolute fave of all time. Paul just keeps sounding better & better...I want some of what he's taking/got! Lol 😉🤩💖🤩💖🤩
God bless you all. And may you rest in eternal peace Dusty 🙏💕 Our sincerest sympathies go out to all of his family and friends. Sending love & hugs of comfort and healing xo
There's a live video on TH-cam of this from 1974 and i swear this is as good if not better,46 years time lapse and the genius of rock is still a genius, only one other singer i know has maintained this level of brilliance over such a long period and that is Ann Wilson of heart.
Saw them perform this in 74 at the now long gone Apollo Theatre, blew me away that night and like you stunned by how his vocals are sustained over such a time span ,truly incredible.
Darn sad day , Dusty was and is a true Southern Gentleman, he and his amazing wife changed the life of countless kids thru their foundation. One of many positive facts of Dusty and ZZ Top is that their, and your music , you guys are amazing also, your radio waves are being transmitted all over our solar system and who knows who picks them up and grooves. you never can know..Respect all...
In my opinion Paul Rodgers was and is the best rock singer ever. Lou Gramm is right up there with him as well as Robert Plant, Ronnie Van Zant, and Sammy Hagar. Of course all this is just my opinion
Absolutely fantastic, what a group of amazing musicians complementing each other perfectly. I’ve lost track of the number of hours I’ve spent listening to this band’s music.
They were my 1st live show with Kansas @ the old Chicago Stadium, spring of 76 , got me hooked on live performances, Paul Roger's still 1 of the best voices in music
Don't you just love this band. I like their stage presence, their clothes and the way they just seem to be totally enjoying themselves. This is one of my favorite concerts and bands. I hope they just keep on going.
