if you kept the tape deck you can use a bluetooth cassette adapter to stream from your phone. cant do that with cd player. i use one in my 94 integra that has both a cd and tape deck. never even tried the cd player actually. it works flawless. Aluratek bluetooth adapter.
Fantastic car! I respect this man for keeping it stock. It looks great. Don't ruin it. Also, it's great to see Nathan! Side note: The cameraman needs to keep his hands to himself. So disrespectful to mess with the controls, open up literature, and look in the trunk unprompted. Things you don't do at a car show without asking first.
I had that exact '91 CRX model and drove it for ~150K miles. It was awesome, a blast to drive, fuel efficient, ultra-relaiable and just a pleasure. I had to trade it in after I got married and started a family. What a great blast from the past.
Awesome! I had a black 91 CRXsi from 93-96. It was completely stock except for very dark window tint to black it out all over. I put more than 50,000 miles on it in three years. I really wish I had kept it.
These are such great cars. An old girlfriend of mine had one. We drove that thing all up and down the East Coast. These are the types of cars that Honda used to excel at, small, efficient, Fun to drive cars.
Had one also bought it used in 2000 for 3000 saved all summer for it was a dream come true. Now ive worked my way to a Porsche but crx si is where it started.
Older Honda's had some of the best looking fabrics for their seats! Had this same configuration brand new and after 2 months a drunk driver decided he would total it. 😭
Still kicking myself that I had to sell my 1990 that looked just like this car. It wasn't stock and I didn't want it to be but it was in so much better shape than whatever I can find on marketplace these days....
I almost bought that same car. Red CRX Si. In January 1992, there was still a new one (19910 on the lot. But ended up buying a 92 Civic sedan instead. Should have bought the CRX.
Great video! Back in the day best friend had one and what a hoot! But have to say disappointed you did not cut Identification Card you told him you would???? 🤔
Loved my 90 crx 1.6 16v for the short time I owned it until someone writ it off 25 years ago, still got the original book pack. Difficult to find a decent example in the UK, most have rusted out.
Nice original car, how many miles are on it since you never asked? An original car, in that nice of shape and original condition, 34 years old how many miles are on it would be one of the first questions that should be asked.
Personally not the same for me with Nathan' reporting ' from Southeren Cali.... just doesnt have the same vibe and seems Detached from the guys in CO. Not interested here...
Yes, they are the factory mats installed in the car. The original mats are saved for car shows. I also have a set of aftermarket mats in the trunk for when I drive the car.
@@Buddyclub33 They are 100% oem Honda floor mats. I have 2 Preludes from the same period and all floor mats were sold by the dealer. They are factory correct and dealer installed if you want to be that particular.
Well he can leave it alone stock...to be boooring. Maybe in 2060 someone will scoop it and leave it stock for another 200 years until it turns into dust and while civilization are already living in Mars.
Thank you so much, Nathan and George for showing my car and allowing me to tell you all about it!!

Absolutely! Thanks for making the time

At 6:43: shows unique radio code and proceeds to tell the owner we will cut it out of the video. You guys at TFL are so lazy.
One of the best cars Honda made! I wish the CR-Z would have come with just a NA 4-cylinder like this it would have been another success.
Great Vid, Great Car, Great Nate! It cracked me up when owner said said "dont show that" and Nathan's head shook when camera open the lid. LOL

Such a beautiful crx so glad your keeping it completely stock!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
Hahahahaha Roman's extensions popping out...Nathan you're great..😂😂
That was in Honda's Golden Era; too bad there's nothing comperable today!!
8th gen Civic Si is the last golden era Honda
Older Honda's had some of the best looking fabrics for their seats! Had this same configuration brand new and after 2 months a drunk driver decided he would total it. 😭
Nice CRX! I had a used 89 Civic Si 5-spd manual that ran like new for over 130K before I sold it in 2001.
I had a 1984 DX and then a 1988 DX back in the day. They were extremely fun to drive.
Still kicking myself that I had to sell my 1990 that looked just like this car. It wasn't stock and I didn't want it to be but it was in so much better shape than whatever I can find on marketplace these days....
Fun cars! I had a teal '91 Si just like the one in the background at the start of the video, back in the day. Good stuff!
Very clean CRX. Nice!
Sweet, I had a 89 Civic SI also in red, fun car.
Beutiful car! Camera man is disrespectful, let the owner show you, keep your hands to yourself.
Awesome crx
MINT! Nice car Mike!
Love the CRX
Love this video. He knows what he’s got. This is the reason why I’m leaving my 2020 Toyota Camry TRD STOCK!!!
My first new car was a 1990 VW Corrado. I've been looking for years to find an unmodified one in like new condition. So far, no luck.
I almost bought that same car. Red CRX Si. In January 1992, there was still a new one (19910 on the lot. But ended up buying a 92 Civic sedan instead. Should have bought the CRX.
WOW I had that exact Honda. God I loved that car.
Back in the early 90s I wanted one of these too. Could only afford a Honda Civic LX hatchback which was still a nice car
I was like smog? but then I saw the California plates and then I understood
Can’t wait to see the rest of your guys JCCS videos! Hope you got some Nissan’s!!
Great video! Back in the day best friend had one and what a hoot! But have to say disappointed you did not cut Identification Card you told him you would???? 🤔
Have to agree. You said you would, at least go back and blur.
OH NO THE CODE LOL

Crazy car.
I love these too!
NATHAN!!!
❤ 90’s Honda’s
buddy of mine had a black one back in the day..lost it to the Repo man
In San Diego? Damn I would’ve snagged this stock Crx too.
1988 HONDA CRX & 1989 ACURA INTEGRA 2DR LS MODEL 👍
I have a 1990 red

Did he ever say how many miles on it?
This camera guy is new huh…. 🤦♂️

Those aren't factory correct floor mats.

Nope. I stand by my previous reply.
Definitely not factory correct mats.
It's even mentioned @4:28
Dealer installed. Not Factory 😅
@ um hum. They were all dealer installed options at the time!

@@OhYeahAboutThat this ^
Yeah uhh fire that camera man
Sad it took him 30 years to by an early 90”s economy car.
@@mumwifeteacher the one that was right for me, anyway.
I have the same one I’ve been dreaming about owning one since I was 15 I’m 30 lol
The original Acuras and 90s Honda had the best styling. Acuras are ugly now, and Hondas aren't much better.
To bad Honda and Toyota lost what made them great…

Theres a lot of mod crx already it’s good to see one stock nobody cares about a mod classic they only appreciate originality.
Haven't seen a modded CRX yet that wasn't worse than one left stock. People have crap taste in mods.
@@crs290 his money his taste.
