The silverton is not high end hotel. Off blue diamond hwy! Across from the TA truck stop ! So much competition to begin with a alot of locals go ! Eaten there regularly !

How does a solo diner mark their table at buffets? Will servers think your table is vacant and you have left, when you get up for more? Need advice thanks!
The last time I went to a Vegas buffet was in December and I noticed the tables were sectioned off. There is a server to each section. You are being monitored by the server who will come talk to you, greet you, and pick up your table each time you get up. But you can also leave something on your table. I left my sweater on my seat each time I got up to get food. Some people left their eye glasses on the table or something (not valuable) to mark their place as to indicate that they are coming back. Also, if you leave a tip on the table, the server will know you are finished.
Thank you Sy! I didn't know people tipped (in cash) at the end of their buffet meal. I wanted to tip on my card, at the same time I pay for the buffet (which I believe is before being seated)

I'll have to say, the lobster (cooked both ways!), the crab legs, the shrimp, the steak - everything - looks great! I'll be in Vegas for a week in September of this year, and I'll be stopping by this place. What a deal!

I am very hungry in Hong Kong. I want to go to Las Vegas to eat valuable buffets. You will never ever to find this price in Hong Kong even though you pay $100 USD and still not able to find that much food in Hong Kong.
First rule of managing a buffet, never run out of plates! And make sure they are dry. So it means in a busy place you must have a large inventory of plates. Don't have your customers looking for plates! Actually the first rule is to never run out of food and leave an empty pan. But of course you need plates!

You get what you pay for. Nicer buffets are in nicer hotels, nice atmosphere, less wait time, convenient, and generally higher quality food.
