This doesn't just shows how toxic the company and fans can be, it also shows how journalists sucks as well with their questions. I remember when Gulf was also trapped with all these so called journalists asking him questions about his girlfriend, I felt so bad for him. Huge applause to the series for addressing such toxicity, seriously these type of individuals makes me so mad🤬
eThose fans are not morons you should think, they know it are actors doing their job ! What an actor does in his private life is nobodies bussinesh, therefore Nubsib was right, and Gene wrong, in the end they both capitulated, so what message does that give ? Both are losers ! This whole last episode is too rushed, so many problems left open ! So, Gene breaks of the relation between them, they have no contact during 4 months, they see each other again, and everything is okay, stupid and very unrealistic !

If you really want to send a message that is clear and simpel as makers of the series you can take an other twist in the story; at the pressconferance you let Gene and Nubsib admit they have a relation, and tell everybody it is their private bussinesh ! Now, they capitulate, like we gays do to often, and therefor nothing chances.You see what I mean ? About their relation, they come out to their parents, in reality the most difficult step to take, it causes no problem, they have the full support of both families. And then, at the first problem that they encounter, Gene, for a reason not really clear, instead off backing upp his lover and fight ing their love, decides to break upp their relation ! Why, it is so weak ! They have no contact for 4 months, and then , they meet, and everything is allright ! Real life is different, I would be so hurt if I were Nubsib, Gene would be dead for me !
Ok, I'm not sure where you've been for the past episodes of it your just trolling but I seriously can't see where you came to that conclusion. The series was showing the reality of the BL business and how toxic parts of it can be, I agree on that. I don't know how simple you want it to be. As much as they would like to tell everyone it's their business, in real life their are more consequences than just running off into the sunset being all happy. They could both lose their professions and source of income and would have to stop doing what they are good at. Not many people would want to work with them after the "scandel" between them and everything would work out horribly for them after because they would have a bad connotation on them. About their parent, they literally locked them up into their own houses and actually tried to make them never see the other again so yes, there were many problems. Eventually they were able to get support but it took time and effort. And Gene backs off because he fears he could damage Nubsibs figure if the truth was told like the problem i expressed before. Not everyone has the power and strength to fight for everything they love of believe in, that's the fantasy fairy tail they are literally trying to back away from to make it more realistic. And even after they did meet, do they look alright to you? Gene literally looks exhausted and distant while Nubsib is angry and upset that they can't be together which is literally the reason they fought in the last episode. Yes, Nubsib is hurt by his decision but he also understands that not everything will work out how he wants it to with all the chaos going on and he hates to see Gene so hurt and worried not only about himself, but about Nubsib as well. I'm sorry you feel that way and everyone is entitled to their opinions but there are so many moments in the series that show how they really care for each other and they are more worried about the other person than themselves, so I recommend maybe looking over it again from different viewpoints just to get the full effect of it. Not hating, just saying

Even after many years to downgrade someone's reputation, toxic fans can dig up. I just think Gene is more mature and he cares for sib more than himself. Even in the ending when they met you can see communication issues in both sides still decided to give each other a chance. I think the ending is good and there is no need for season 2

Aoey spent so much time chasing after something that was never meant for him and in doing so lost sight of what he already had. That hug from Nubsib caused him more pain than anything else in that moment.

Totally agree. The scene with Tiffy is amazing. She didn't buy one bit of Aoey's tearful manipulation attempts. She essentially told him to wipe his face and get on with the press conference. Bruce (Aoey) is a wonderful actor who had some difficult scenes to play! I congratulate him as well Kao and Up - they all put their heart into their characters and we as audience got a story with a serious message, characters lives not the actors lives...the two squealing girls watching Sib hug Aoey said it all - Sib was being a professional actor...

Mínimo aprecien que están tocando temas que no cualquiera se atreve a meter en una serie. Por ejemplo como los fans que no conocen la palabra "respeto", se sienten con el derecho de mandar en la vida de alguien más.
Como todo lo ve que vemos tiene consecuencias detrás de escena.
Puede que no sea la serie más emocionante, más visual o lo que sea que no les haya gusta, obviamente no es ninguna de esas series con la que la están comparando.
Pero ame demasiado todos esos pequeños detalles como Tiffy siendo una mujer cool, no la típica chica débil que solo crea problemas o tonta, como las que suelen incluir en muchísimas series.
Me encantó que Gene jamás estuvo negando que es gay.
Que Tum no fuera el típico macho, si no un chico muy lindo, siento que no es el típico personaje que puedo ver en otras series (o tal vez si, pero nadie me ha hecho pensar eso).
Ame que mostraran un poco de la vida de los personajes. De todos.
Que incluyeran a su familia en el proceso de aceptarlos. Los hermanos de Sib y Gene son geniales también.

Look, I'm not a great strategist, but why couldn't Nubsib just say this at the press conference:
_"We were childhood friends. Our families are neighbors. After many years not seeing each other, we met again at Bad Engineer filming. My agency had a shortage of rooms, so Gene was kind enough to offer me a room at his condo. We had a great time catching up. I'm sorry if it looked like something more."_
It was weird to me that they did not say the obvious thing to say. Or did they, and it was edited out in this clip?
Plot induced stupidity. Granted, people make stupid decisions every day, but writers often have their characters make the worst decisions possible for the sake of entertaining the audience.

For one, it didnt align with his character or the the vibe of the show or tbh even common sense. Gene has always been shown to be realistic so for his IQ to fall I just had to chalk it up to writer induced stupidity. Since the writer wrote it, Gene had to do it, even if it makes no sense. This is honestly this series's biggest "wtf" moment. Like before this the writers were dodging wtf moments or only having them in small doses but now I see they were saving it all up for this one key plot point.

i felt slightly bad for aoey when tiffy left him because the one person who cared about him stopped- but he needs to know that these are the consequences for what he’s done and he brought it upon himself, nothing more to that. this is what it feels like having no one to support him by his side, but he’s too far gone to simply apologise or take anything back.
Season 2 please, this is so interesting I can’t live without it🥺

The conference scene gave me so much anxiety, I literally felt like throwing up. I was feeling so bad for Gene and Nubsib, that my whole body responded to the toxicity from the press and the agency. But I felt that the scene was also really important to show how ridiculous and toxic everyone from fans to the company can be

Es lamentable pero pasa muy comúnmente en el BL. Entiendan fans tóxicas/os los actores no son parejas reales solo hacen su trabajo
I am really happy that this series did a great job exposing the toxic fan community who ships the BL actors and think that they don't have life apart from the series. I love watching BL series and there are also some fav ships that I adore a lot but then I respect their individuality and the actors hanging out with other people and other actors but again you could see their comment section is full of asking why he isn't with xyz person(their ship). I know that you loved their chemistry in the series but that doesn't mean that they should date in real life or hang out together always. This shows that with fame comes the extreme pressure from the toxic community. I am glad that such things are shown via series for people to understand and stop obsessing over the ships.
