Haha I do too. I was on the phone with my mom and she heard the attract mode go off, a car crash sound with screeching came on right away and she thought for sure I was in an accident. Then she heard the siren later and was like WTF.
I’m really happy to hear people like these. I’m never sure what to expect when releasing this type of video. I’d LOVE to do more. I have had an invitation to a Houston arcade with two locations. I just haven’t been able to coordinate a time and date. There will be more of these, it may just take some time.
Most of my favorite arcade games are there Star Wars Trilogy Arcade NFL Blitz 2000/NBA Showtime Aliens Alien vs predator MVC2 T2 Revolution X Killer Instinct Ms Pac Man Galaga Among others
Its pretty crazy. There’s a smaller arcade near this, Tornado Terry’s in Keller, TX, that has almost all of my favorites. The only other arcade I’ve found with a better selection is The Arcade in Wichita, KS. It’s run my YourMKArcadeSource and he has tons of great Midway titles. They keep adding more too. I’ll probably make a trip that way this year when they open their new location.
I thought I saw a DOT next to Tron cab but not sure and I saw Tournament CyberBall 2072 plus SNK Prehistoric Isle and T2 so 3 or 4 in my top 10 of all Time right off the bat but I didn’t see Gyruss! 🙄🤨😎🤩
@@KillerArcadeGames Do you remember that game Bubble Trouble? It was a silly flash game. That's what Pang is, Mighty Pang, etc. they are a lot of fun actually. It's a fairly well-known series.
Now that I think of it, they don’t have any MK 1 & 2 cabinets at any location. I thought maybe they were to expensive to put there but they have KI cabinets which are crazy expensive.
@@KillerArcadeGames I totally understand your point. I was never good on it, but learned to play it and give some turns in a few songs. I'd be needing space for installing my Frankenstein homemade pad actually, but got not enough space to pad and cabinet yet.
We had memberships to the Austin location for a short time. But it’s still 60 miles away and they removed the games we went there for. We haven’t been back in a long time unfortunately. We did visit the Houston location last week. Houston is probably my favorite but Fort Worth is very close.
You must’ve recorded this video before you snagged the MK4 cabinet lol. Always enjoy these walkthroughs! Way bigger than my local retro arcade by a long shot. Cool thing about my local arcade is they have consoles set up to play as well-new and old. They also sell used games/systems. I bought a Dreamcast from them this weekend! So excited! Just ordered Episode 1 Racer last night 🥹
@@KillerArcadeGames I've been to the Cidercade Houston location twice. The last time I went, they shed a few cabinets (like Tecmo Bowl and Spider-Man). I think Cidercade rotates cabinets between their different locations, cause games that used to be at the Houston area are at these new locations.
Definitely! The Dallas location is good but this one has a better selection of games in my opinion. Arlington is getting one soon too. I hope they come to SA. I saw the perfect area for them. They typically open in hip/recently gentrified areas with large warehouse like buildings that are empty.
ew, their Cruis'n Blast cabinets were updated to remove the Lamborghinis. :X They also didn't have any of the classic racing games like Cruis'n USA/World/Exotica, California Speed, Rush The Rock, Rush 2049, Offroad Challenge. :X
Chris next time please could you film the KI1 or KI2 records from the start until finish. Anytime i went to a new Arcade in the 90s i had never been to and saw a Killer Instinct , that was always the 1st thing i'd do before anything else , check the records.
I went in there for the first time last night and it was very much impressive but my biggest disappointment is that they don't have the classic racing games that I grew up with. Like the Crusin trilogy, California Speed, Both Rush alcatraz & 2049 special edition.
Looks amazing I wish they had one of these in Southern California we need Gameworks back 😢also all the MK machines need to be placed together thanks for the video! Love seeing these types of places
With how fast they’re opening locations in Texas, I could see them expanding outside of Texas within a few years. I have no clue how they have so many games but I love it lol.
Stern has Mando and Star Wars both on the schedule for next year to produce. Pro and Premiums for both, if you are thinking Mando they are a great value used the market is super soft on them. Premiums new are $9500 but if you look around you can find low 7s used. Pro is $6900 new but mid 5s is out there used. There’s all kinds a home use only pins out there with 500 plays or less that is definitely something to consider for the value. The days of buying a new pin, keeping it for a year or two, and worth as much or more than what you paid or kind of over. Just my 2 cents we have a few pins.
Thanks for the info! I’ve been looking locally for one, we’ve found a few but most prices near me have been close to new! This area always has inflated used arcade prices for some reason
Man, i wish i could play real arcade games instead of emulated ones. Cause, i never seen or tried to play a real arcade games in my life. Only via emulation on PC, but it is different. Especially i would love to play OG MK4 on a real arcade hardware. Maybe someday i get a chance, but until then, all i can do is use emulators.
I’m not gonna make it that far coming from Raleigh North Carolina but I’m willing to check out the arcade in Tennessee!
I’m trying to go see that one myself!
It’s Better Than Bowlero and Dave and Busters in 2023!!! Thanks for uploading it.
At 4:11 That Blue Namco Cab... The Excellena damn she is beautiful. The best looking Candy Cab to me. Then The Sega Blast city!
It is! It’s great they have so many different kinds of games.
Mystery driving game should be Maximum Tune 5. Bandai Namco uses the same cabs as their MarioKart counterparts.
Friday morning, opening hours. The PERFECT time to go.
Yep! I wish I could visit more around those times.
@@KillerArcadeGames How many arcade games at Cidercade Fort Worth?

Wow! That place is truly awesome! And they all look so clean!
They do a pretty solid job of keeping the place in good working order. Even with kids running around with soda cups and pizza fingers haha

I think its funny that you have the ability to play more games in your shed then at the arcade
Haha it’s weird I want to play all the games I already have when I go to arcades.

What's the space shooter at about 8:11, after you pass Superman? It's a ltitle hard to see.
