In the past I use to have dreams that would give insight as to what was going to happen either in my life or others around me. I knew my sister was pregnant before she did. I had a dream about my niece and knew something would happen that day. I told my sister about it and told her to make sure she knew where my niece is all day. She didn't listen. My niece ended up stuffing beads in the same color of the snakes I saw in my dream (white, yellow and red) up her nose. She had to be rushed to the hospital. I have had a lot of these events occur when I was little. Now I don't remember my dreams anymore or don't have them at all. I feel like I turned my back on a gift that was given to me and the ancestors took it back. I am Haitian and there is a lot of stigma behind certain practices (socially speaking) even though voodoo is still well and alive culturally. I feel like my gift was taken because I started believing in a fake white men in the clouds was going to save me one day. When I held my own salvation with in me and my spirit guides to guide me. I feel lost and don't know what to do. smh
as long as there is life, there is hope. what you have lost can be retrieved, especially if it is part of what you chose as part of your destiny. you just have to get aligned with your destiny and be disciplined in your practice. don't worry. find out what needs to be done and do it!

I had a dream that I was announced as "the jester"... For the following months, I had unbelievable fairy tale-like synchronicities between my consciousness and materiality. Before that dream I did not believe in anything, spiritually speaking. After a lot of investigation into different cultures and what the jester means, I come across Esu. The synchronicities started firing off like crazy then. The strings that can be pulled in this realm by Esu are unfathomable. I'm not initiated traditionally, but feel that dream was some sort of initiation or tying me to who rules over my head. It has been about 5 years since that dream and I still have wild things that happen although not near as abundant as the first few months of dealing with this new life and understanding imparted on me. Thank you for your time that you sacrifice to teach.

I have dreams often, My dog Celine ran away along with my other dog King who I missed very much..She came to me in a dream twice I believe shes passed away and visit me to let me know that she is ok..😥My dad, grandmother and cousin and aunt all visited me in dreams also..I had a dream about Trump and Kim Jong Un meeting together and it was fire and missiles dropping..I sometimes have weird feelings in my conscious to lead me away from bad situations also.I see numbers in sequence or randomly..I kept seeing 7's everywhere when I went out just to run some errands.Told my mom to play straight 7's for pick 3 and she didnt but it came out the next day..I have a feeling something is there I dont know what but I'm curious to know..Ive Always been into helping people all of my life no matter who they are❤
Dreamt Yemaya guided me throughout the Earth and was introducing me to the people and nature. I felt lifted and elevated. Was told I need to find who I am. But is this the same as the “new age” teachings? I consistently hear music and names of Orisha and dreams of them but I’m a believer not sure how to take this information.
each dream has to be taken apart, section by section. you have to look closely at all the symbols and not be drawn into interpretation too soon. how do you know it was "Yemaya" for example? Is that what she said or did you see something that lead you to that conclusion? The key is to be patient about examining the symbols, exactly as they are.

Had a dream about seeing alot of pearls white pearls in the bucket
I think I know the meaning to a dream I had more than a year ago. I remember it well, I felt so close and so drawn to a particular energy when I went to sleep I dreamed I saw several tornadoes dropping out of the sky. I didn't scare me , it amazed me because I've never seen more than one tornado touch down let alone several. I didn't count them but it was more than 5 for sure. Can you reaffirm the energy I communicating with or trying to tell me she was there.
tornado is change and destruction. what was happening at the time of the dream? have you experienced a dynamic change since that time? are you from a place where tornadoes are common?
I'm from Alabama, we do have tornadoes but not very often in my city. A lot has changed since this dream, my life was disrupted but in the end all was well. The destruction was needed or I wouldn't have made so many moves (not physically) in my life. It's been a year and things have not been the same since that dream.

hello im so confused i had a dream i hope you can help, im so lost. I was in a building with people i didnt know. my body started shaking and i was feeling weird so i started yelling to everyone to get out. when we all were outside the building burst into flames. i was still shaking and feeling weird. i was begging for help and a woman came out of the crowd and grabbed my hand and pulled me to a river, she walked me into the river and i couldnt hear her every word but i heard water flow, powerful and spirits. she had a glow around her face of yellow and white her dreads were wrapped above her head in a gold and royale blue scarf. when i saw her face it was a face of a woman i nevr met personally but who is a facebook friend. i messaged her an told her what i dreamed and she asked if i was serious and sure if it was her face. i saw it clearly it was, she then said for me to look up oshun that i was being called, she couldnt help me more as she is not trained to do so. im confused as to what am i supposed to look up and search for. it was so vivid and peaceful i cant stop thinking about this dream. please if you can help guide me in the right directions i would appreciate it so much.

you definitely dream, but you do not remember. there can be several reasons for that, some physical and others metaphysical. try this: go to bed before 11 and wake up by 6. when you awaken, take three minutes to just be in the stillness and let your mind catch up with you, instead of just getting up unceremoniously. get in touch with how you feel, emotionally. how are you breathing? is there tension in your body? do this every day for two weeks and let me know what happens.

this past week I been learning about ifa and learning the culture and then times that's I'm not looking anything about the orisa. ..I take about oshun or eshu last night I had a dream with I was some were with my family and this lady came up to me and pulled me outside who and talk me my life and power and she was so loving and had a motherley warm feeling and as I was talking to her something was in my mouth and I keep pulling it out and it keep coming back and I taking it out and she keep laughing at that ...then next thing there was one lady who came out of no were wearing yellow skirt and head pieces and she started to dance to the music then that's when I woke up
a dream is deeply embedded into your psyche. do not believe simplistic interpretations, taken from dream books and other superficial motifs. if you REALLY want to understand your dreams, you have to give them respect. study them patiently, over time. examine the symbols according to YOUR unique experiences and the contents of ifa divinations. all else is a mockery of the science of dream interpretation.

splendid question. divination is the use of technology to predict. astrology, tarot and "cutting" the bible/koran are all forms of divination. reading tea leaves, dreams and runes are also divination. i only know IFA and its derivatives (erindinlogun, obi, orogbo), however. so when i say divination, that is my point of reference.

Hello. I'd like a little clarification on symbols. Are you referring to the things that are seen in dreams, i.e stairs, sunlight? Also, is perception or Orishas considered symbols? Thank you for your insight.
thank you. yes, i'm referring to things like stars, colors or even people (judge, writers, teachers). i would definitely consider the appearance of orisa firstly as symbols. for example, you might see obatala planting flowers. i would not immediately assume that is actually obatala. i would want to explore what obatala means to YOU, what is your relationship to flowers.

To me it is. I’m from Miami. Everybody I mean everybody does it in Spanish. Even if you from a different country or speak a different language normally. It’s always Spanish. And I’ve never looked up videos on TH-cam for Yoruba, so it’s a culture shock to me cause I’m now hearing it in a universal language.
