Onion OS MIYOO MINI PLUS | Is it that much better?

Today im finally taking a look at Onion OS and all its wonderful features.
Its been around for a while and I know I'm late to the party but i was sent this Miyoo Mini with Onion OS pre installed from the folks over at MECHDIY. Installing Onion OS isn't particularly difficult and you do NOT need to buy another Mini if you want to utilize its features. However, this one sent to me has been completely optimized and has its own bells and whistles that might make it worth a look.

I have the stock handheld, if i get the sd card do i have to do anything to the hand held since its stock ,or do i just put the new sd card and start playing.?

Not much, depending on the rom that's being run. I've played PS1 games on the Mini+ with very little screen warmth
