How can you not love David Gray.
I've been fortunate enough to see him live three times and every time I have come out feeling as if my soul has been lifted and nourished.
Never had that feeling with any other performance from any other artist.
The man is special.
Was blessed to attend the Skellig concert in Dublin on Sunday, March 5, 2023 and it was such a moving experince. Truly magical song writing and delivery....David Gray's voice in the music industry transcends space and time... he is an authentic artistic genius. Brilliant!

My wife and I saw David and his band in Saskatoon (Small city on the Canadian prairies) about 10 years ago. One of the best concerts we've ever experienced.
David, just keeps getting better. His latest songs are better than ever. He's a truly world class singer/songwriter.
Been a fan since " Century's end". The fact that his channel only has 119k subs with how massively soulful, heartfelt and unique to pure music he is is a sad statement to the state of music today. Bands of purity and true talent are becoming fewer while contract seeking, auto-tune overnighters pop up everywhere. Don't ever change Master David, old dinosaurs like us still need ya. Stay pure my friend 👍

Had a beautiful experience with A Century's End, early 2000s. Gray was performing at Melkweg, Amsterdam and I'd brought the LP sleeve to sign. He saw me in the crowd during his performance and signalled to pass it to the front and the other rows in front of me obliged by passing it along. He signed it in silver pen and the sleeve was passed back to me. A lovely artist attracts lovely audience. :)
Couldn't agree more! Had the pleasure of meeting David after an amazing gig in Dolans Warehouse in '98 / '99 - what a talent, love every single album and "shine" still one of my faves to play on guitar. Keep it up David!
consider this: many of his fans actually buy his music and listen away from the net. I have his music on most of the day...not everyone listens for 'free'...=)

I bought A Century Ends when it came out on one of those "no risk" deals that record stores used to do. Gathering Dust was my kids lullaby and they are now 30 and 25
I remmember of being a little brazilian boy who listened to David Gray's songs in some forgoten place and become addicted. Remmembered how outsdtanding those songs and lyrics were. Hi David, the first time I ever heard you was when you're 'White Ladder' album was released (loved it and still do). Saw you play live at Marley Park, Dublin in the late 90's or early 00's (can't remember exactly). Then somehow I just missed everything after, life other stuff gets in the way etc. Then I came across this song and instantly fell in love with it and the rest of Skellig. I am now listening to all your other albums also. Sad that I missed them as they were released but happy now that I have rediscovered you. Keep releasing beautiful music. Cheers man.🤗
Was introduced to David Gray about 10 years ago by my then girlfriend (now my wife). I play his music so much that my wife has grown tired of listening to him. We saw him in concert in Berkeley, CA in 2022. It was the 20th Anniversary tour of his White Ladder album and it was unreal. Such a wonderful experience.

David Gray is great...my favorite, or at least one of them. My favorite song os "The One I Love." The "One" for me is Michael G Carter. Even if we don't make it through our recent troubles. I will remember the man I fell in love with 27 years ago. I love him more today and always and ever will.
He's the one that turned me on to David. Had it not been for Michael, the greatest DJ ever (and much more) I might not have heard of David and many other musicians and artist. Michael studies the music. He will tell you who wrote the lyrics, music...who produced it and what label. He never forgets anything...it's kinda scary.
