Things you don't know about this video: Lots of things went wrong during the moving! Joan, the man who helped us move, his alarm didn't ring so he got to our place 2 hours late. It also rained a lot that day! When we got to the new flat, there were still people working on it (painting, glazing the floors) and insisted we were not supposed to move in that day (even though I told our broker several times we were moving that day). Even though it was a very eventful day, I never got anxious or overwhelmed (thanks, therapy) and all the little things that went wrong, they were fixed within this past week, yaaay! Plans for this weekend: so much laundry, drawing, and I wanna go to Coney Island! Also: Ed and I bought some second hand bikes and I'd love to explore Brooklyn :)
Even if you're an illustrator I think it's perfectly fine to create other type of content! I personally watch your videos for your personality and I'm genuinely interested in the daily things you do, not only art. Thank you for another pleasant video ❤
I don't mind if you're moving or drawing Fran, you bring us all along and always, always make me smile 🤗🎉

Now that‘s a lovely new flat and it‘s great to see the cats enjoying the sunshine! And you can walk to the studio, how cool is that?! I think that‘s such a good improvement, nothing worse than having to waste time on commutes! Less commuting, more drawing 👌
I'm genuinely so happy for you Fran ! Since you moved in that sunless flat, I was very empathetic because I'm one of thoses persons who literary feel bad when there is no light, and I was hoping you would find a niece place soon (Your working studio is already very nice but home is... Home and need to be cosy) I hope everything will be nice here for you and your family !

I mean I'm happy for you but I'm most happy for your cats! Our last house was SO DARK and our kitty would only get a small bit of sunlight daily, our new house has so many sunny spots throughout the day and she's so much happier now. ♥️

And in addition, your life (the why and the how as well as well as the what) informs what you illustrate... so why wouldn't your audience enjoy watching more of what makes you YOU as both an illustrator and a person outside of your work?

hace un año que me mude a mexico y también al principio estuve viviendo en un apartamento que no me gustaba y sin luz, y me mude hace un mes a uno mejor, con una gran iluminación, entiendo el cambio y realmente es maravilloso una vez que te mudas. saludos a tus gaticos

I love your moving/setup vlogs, they always make me want to clean for some reason. It's funny that once you moved things out of the first apartment it looked like it had more light! The new apartment is absolutely beautiful, I love all that space! I think it definitely looks more home-y than your other one. I am on the struggle bus as well with consistent medium uploads, for IG especially. Sometimes I think we put too much stock in listening to what others want or getting in our own heads instead of following our own creative needs, intuition and health. All is good! I like these types of videos from you as well.
