Everywhere on the Ice Age Trail is beautiful during the Autumn months. I’d like to head out to the St. Croix area on the trail to see all the Fall colors. I’ve never been to the part yet. Cool video! 🤙

Learning new stuff is a bonus that motivates me to pay closer attention when I’m outside. I’ll be looking for the British Soldier lichen, among the other flora and fauna you presented.

That time of year it was still so beautiful even in the rain! No backpacking sites that I saw, just campgrounds. Devils Lake has the IAT pass right through the campground!

I ❤the Ice Age Trail (esp in fall). Moved south yrs ago and that trail is one of the things i miss SO much. Thank you for this video. 👍

I hiked both those segments as part of a three day trip last Fall - Lodi Marsh to Devil's Lake. Absolutely beautiful. :)

Not a dumb question! This wasn’t a loop so we actually parked one car at the start and one at the finish!
