I Think I will check back to your channel to see how you have stayed Interested again in the Hobby, I'm 70, and started collecting Spidey in the early 60's. lost interest last 10 years or so.
I have had complete collection of Batman and Spiderman before CGC Grading existed. Getting my collection graded has kept me interested especially when I had to replace all my "Restored" graded comics. Instagram, Facebook and TH-cam comic posts also help me meet other collectors.
I have ASM annuals #'s 1 and 2 in m/high grades, and I have never understood why these are not considered major grails. As a kid of the 60's, they were very hard to find, and they are classic original stories with some great classic features. Stores back them did not always carry the 25 cent issues, and I remember as a kid how giddy I was when I finally found them.
Don’t ever base your collection to someone else. You have a incredible collection that you should be proud of. Never say I’m in so position in this so called registry. I don’t compete with no one but myself
@@MtHockey I already sold it to pay for my CGC 2.5 copy. But I wonder if I had sent it to CGC as pages would each page be "trimmed" ? It has to be trimmed by the spine to cut out the pages!
Universal 2.5 is a higher grade than Restored 3.0 but its great for you if you do not care if books are restored. You can buy key books for less money when they are not graded or graded restored.

No one would trade so I had to sell books and just buy the one I wanted. I'm glad I waited!

I felt like my collection was finished so getting my comics graded and then competing in the Registry Set renewed my interest in my hobby!

if there is tape on the book it results in a lower grade. therefore not restored. such a bogus way to qualify something.
I thought old tape was not considered restoration but I do think you get a lower grade.

Not really upgrading it's more of a downgrade because 3.0 is better than a 2.5 in my opinion
